A quick shout-out for Dr Joseph Shire located at Health Central. My father has had a severe rash for the last year caused by his treatments for his cancer which he is thankfully in remission. He has been seen by two different dermatologist who insist the rash is contact dermatitis. It is unbearable to see him suffer the way he has for so long with the itch and watching my mom night after night rubbing him with lotions 2 try and stop the discomfort. I suggested to them why not a third opinion? They went to see my dermatologist, Dr Shire who diagnosed the rash as a fungus gave him a shot of a super powerful steroid and as of today the rash is almost gone! He has not been itching for the last 3 days. On a side note the other dermatologists suggested surgery on my dads hand for some cancer cells which according to Dr Shire are not there anymore. One more thing the other dermatologist suggested eyelid surgery which Dr Shire said theres no need for that he can do an eyebrow lift which is much more effective and not as extensive. I am thrilled and excited to see dads progress, and extremely thankful for Dr. Shirer!! Its crazy after posting this on my FB to see how many of my friends go to Dr. Shire as well!

I am a retired RN and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the office and medical staff. You must be prepared to let the doctor know what your issues are...you know your own body so show him your concerns. make a list if you cant remember or get nervous. The dr. comes in and out very quickly but does a thorough job if the patient does their part also.

This is the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been too. I wasted my time going there, I got nothing done! I had gone there since I was recommended to go to that doctor I"d recommend that you do not! I would not take my neighbors cat to this doctor!
