We were in search of a new vet. We liked the old one with the exception of 2 hour waits every time we went and it was a 25 min drive. So we wanted something closer to home and the ability to make an appointment. This place had both, so that was a nice change. Although Ill admit, its not the place i thought it was when i made the appointment. This is a small facility next to a house. The parking is very limited. The facility was nice, very clean and we were greeted immediately. We only had to wait a couple of minutes for our appointment. The first in the room with us was what i assume was a vet assistant, he never introduced himself so i can confirm that. After a brief exam, he left and came back in with the vet who introduced herself. She was thorough, but with the treatment plan she was suggesting for something so minor, i felt like i was about to be taken to the cleaners. We decided on a slightly different treatment plan for the ear infection that included an injection and 3 meds for at home treatment. The "Lets see what we have and can put together" approach to the home medications was very off putting. The final bill was much more than i expected, nearly double. Itemization included the exam, a test, hazard disposal fee (i can only assume that was for the q tips with ear wax that got thrown in a trash can somewhere), injection, 3 home meds. So the good: -appointments available -in town -friendly and helpful front desk -friendly vet -clean facility The Bad- -limited parking -watch your wallet If i hadnt felt like someone was trying to get over on me then got hit with what i felt like was an over inflated bill, i would have given this place a 5 star rating and would be back for many years to come. But we will continue searching for our familys new vet.

Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Everyone there is compassionate and considerate regarding both the needs of the patient and the owner - simply top notch!! I have trusted them with the care of each of my dogs from the moment Ive brought them into my home until the difficult decision had to be made to allow them to no longer be in pain. Dr. Glover and her caring staff were there for every high and low - would not trust any other vet clinic with such important work!

Best. Vet. Ever. I hesitated to post a review simply because there are so many good things to say that I dont know how to fit them all in one review without it being ridiculously long. Suffice it to say that I love this place. Great staff, and top notch doctors. Dr. Glover is the best vet HANDS DOWN. Id give this place (and Dr. Glover) 100 stars if I could.

Dr. Glover and her team are just the very best!! She is not only a wonderful vet, but she truly cares about her patients. I like that she is still a small town vet (not the big city, too busy to care kind). If you want a great vet for your pet, please go see Dr. Glover at Wylie Veterinary Hospital. All of my fur babies just love her and her team!!

Truly a great place to take your pets. They take their time with you and your pet. They explain what they are doing and answer all of your questions. They take time to make your pet feel at ease. They give treats to your pet, pet them and talk to them. We wouldnt think of taking our animals any where but the Wylie Veterinary Hospital.

I took my dog here for a wart type of growth on his mouth. They were able to schedule an appointment for me quickly. I didnt have to wait long to get into a room and they were able to get the growth removed that same day. The staff was very nice and my overall experience was great! We will be using them again for future vet needs.
