This place is pretty terrible. Unless your kids have minor issues and need a basic antibiotic or lotion, they do the bare minimum here. I had to beg to get my child tested for anemia (and yes, it did come back positive). The well visits are a joke. I never feel like my child is thoroughly examined. And I have had long wait times when my children have been very sick. I have not been treated as kindly as I should have. I feel some of the nurses and staff treat it just like a job without the care and kindness for kids they should have. I am not sure what is wrong with this place, but I never recommend it to others and am looking around to find a better place to go. If you go here, best of luck to you, and I sincerely hope your child never gets anything serious because Im not sure this practice would go above and beyond to help you.

We have been taking our now 11 year old to this practice since she was 2 and are not taking our newest 9 month old girl there since her first pediatrician visit. We have visited all of the Dr.s at the practice several times over the years, and while they are all great, we love Dr. McWilliams. Getting an appointment is easy and we never have to wait long once there for our scheduled appointment. They have always been prompt about returning calls during on and off hours. Appointments never feel rushed and they always take the time to answer all of our questions. We wouldnt think of going anywhere else.

Love this practice, and I go across the hall to Penn Family Medicine. The staff is very friendly, however the wait time on the phone to speak to a nurse or make an appointment is unusually long.. Making an appointment isnt difficult though the more popular hours are harder to get within a reasonable amount of time, if you wait until the last minute to schedule your well checks; but if my daughter is sick Im able to get her in right away. She has epilepsy, so they understand that any illness needs to be addressed immediately in order to reduce the possibility of seizures.

I find the front desk staff to be rude and unwelcoming. Have reported them to the main Penn medicine staff twice because they treat my caught terribly when she brings her son in for check ups or sick visits. They are not kind to families that do not fit into the stereotypical mold of what they believe a family should be, especially if you are on public assistance! Very unprofessional!

I like how they have separate waiting rooms for sick and healthy patients. Im happy with Dr. McWilliams for getting us in on an emergency visit and recognizing my daughter needed to be sent immediately to the hospital for further treatment. She also called us to follow up to see how she was doing, which not all our past pediatricians have done.

Long wait on the phone, long wait in the waiting room, long wait for nurse to come in and then another long wait for doc to walk in....be prepared to WAIT!, a lot! every time! ...if ur ok with the waiting part, the nurses and docs r all very nice. This offices only saving grace.

The staff are very friendly and great with my kids. Ive never personally dealt with much of a wait here. The separate Sick and Well waiting rooms are a plus.

Youll find your preference and stick with that doc but with the cast they have and flexibility when you have a sick child this place is like no other!
