When I had my first child I loved this office. The more children I had the worse they got. I am now on my fourth child and I am so happy I decided to switch them to the office where I work. The one receptionist here is just rude, she never smiles doesnt acknowledge you. I do not understand how she is still working there. This office is more concerned about telling me how to be a parent than treating my children! There were so many times I had to correct the nurses and and receptionists here to let them know that I am the parent and I make all the decisions for my children. I could understand if I gave them a reason for concern but my children are healthy and happy. This place needs a good clean up! As far as the doctors they are great even Dr. Ohler has been a sweetheart. Its the front desk and the nurses who need another training session. I wish all of them good luck but my I have switched my children to a different office where we feel respected. CHOP is such a good Hosp. So sad to see these employees representing it.

Getting a well appointment has to be done months ahead of time, for sure. Weve had many doctors there over the years, loved most of them. Dr. Oehler was fine with my teenage daughter, and I dont need extremely warm and fuzzy, but you might prefer a less matter of fact bedside manner if your children are infants or very small. I also liked Dr. Krishnans bedside manner with teenage girls. My son preferred a man, and we saw Kendrick, then Rissmiller, then Lawton, all men, all fine, Dr. Lawton was my favorite, thorough and personable. He (son) doesnt mind seeing female Dr. Curley, she has sons of her own, and is very natural with boys, and he likes her. Shes thorough and professional, and yes, warm and fuzzy. But youd best make that well appointment months in advance, and if your child is sick, youll get whoever is available, and it probably wont be your favorite. Oh, and be on time. Ive only had to wait forever when I was late.

I agree with Cindy Sell. I had my son six weeks premature and I was a mess. I was crying all the time, exhausted and so scared. I had my first appointment with Dr. Oehlur because my son needed to be seen the day after he got out of the NICU and she was the first Dr. available. I got there and she was very uncaring and handled my son as if she had never handled an infant before and her bedside manner was just awful. She spoke to me as if I was an idiot not taking into consideration this was my first child which was born premature. After that experience I chose to go to Dr. Curley and I just LOVE her! I can not say enough good things, she really cares about her patients and their parents. She takes the time to speak to you and encourage you. I highly recommend her especially if you may be a sensitive parent or a parent of a child with special needs.

Dr. Oehler is aweful, how does she still work there when she has horrible reviews and clearly hates her job? We brought my son in and she was the only Dr. available at the time and we had concern he was autistic, she told him to jump on one foot and he did then she said hes fine. Thats her evaluation for autism????? Seriously? ???? He was 2 at the time and was diagnosed officially at the age of 4 on the autism spectrum. She is a joke. We still go there and now hes 8, we love Dr. Krishnan, she is super nice and attentive and knows how to speak with children and their parents. Stay away from Dr. Oehler.

Impossible to get a same-day appointment and they will not let you schedule for the next day. No walk in hours. I received so much attitude from a nurse when I ended up taking my daughter to the ER instead of waiting 5 hours for their "first available appointment" when I called the second the opened the office. They refused to schedule me for a follow up appointment the next day and were downright rude to me. Now trying to get my daughters medical records transferred to our new pediatrician has been a nightmare even though they said they received my request. Dont waste your time, go elsewhere.

I LOVE CHOP. My daughter was jaundiced when she was born, and Dr. Curley spent the whole weekend checking on us and making sure she had everything she needed to get better. Every time we needed something, the staff there was so incredibly helpful and understanding. No question was stupid, nothing was a waste of time. They told me many times that and concern is worth checking out. Every doctor we saw there was incredibly helpful. We just moved to Ohio, and I miss our pediatrician SO badly! I wish we couldve taken them with us!

They have horrible staff and doctor (Sharon D. Oehler, MD). I do not understand how she became a pediatrician. She doesnt seem to have any affection for children. She seems to hate younger children. Last time I tried to make an appointment, I had to be on hold 5 times, and repeat the symptoms to each nurse. also, if you have a child with a fear of doctor, Sharon D. Oehler will be the last doctor you would want to see. She will traumatize your kid forever.

We are new to the West Chester area and have bnever been to the office before. On our first visit which took us 3 months to get we were 15 min late. (again we are new to this area) and they turned us AWAY! They gave us another appointment for mid September. It is now July 14th. Who the hell do these doctors think they are? In this economy I would never turn away business. Ridiculous. Needless to say I will not use this ped.

I brought my asthmatic daughter in because she had a persistent cough that was keeping her up all night for weeks. I was told she didn't have anything wrong. Basically blown off. Indeed she had whooping cough which we found out after going elsewhere for a second opinion. In the meantime she suffered and exposed her whole daycare and family friends. We called Kids First to complain and they didn't care!!!!

Ive seen Dr. Curley and Dr. Atkins. Both are WONDERFUL. I am a new mom and they take so much time to answer my questions. When Dr. Curley sees my baby she is so excited as if she was a relative. I love the way they hold her and talk to her during the check up. The nursing staff is quite wonderful as well. Ive been in for several check up appointments and I have no complaints.

I took my 4 year old daughter to Kids First West Chester yesterday and we saw Dr. Oehler. It took her an hour to finally see us and she was absolutely rude and nasty to me and my daughter. I do however like Dr. Curley and Dr. Lawton but I would advise anyone not to see Dr. Oehler. I cant get over how awful she was. She has no place working with children!!!

The administrative staff is awesome! My son was going to camp and I showed up 5 minutes after the office closed. i needed a medical form for him to go. Susie and Laura were so nice and patience while they searched all over for the form until they found it. They could not have been nicer! Thank you both so much! The two of you are AWESOME!
