i took my precious 13 year old dog to this clinic after she experienced a heart attack, i was told she had a slim to none chance of survival, when i arrived there. so i felt she had no chance of survival and i was devastated to the point that i could not even comprehend what was going on around me. my first complaint is that when i arrived at the clinic i was so upset that i could barely fill out the form i was givin to fill in my information.the lady at the front desk kept coming in to see if i had finished with it and of course i was too upset to barley write or see from the tears i had not finished with it and was told she needed it right away. so i finished it and gave it to her. next the doctor came in to give me options for Dee Dee, such as try to save her which was not likely to happen or to uthinize her. i chose to uthinize her. which broke my heart. when i was ready to pay i was told we do not except checks. i let the lady know that was the only way i could pay since my debit card was lost and i have not recieved one back from the bank yet. she insited i pay with cash only or credit card since i do not have credit cards i could only pay with a check. they were charging me $ 265.00 for the service of looking at my dog and then uthinize her on the spot. and $50.00 to cremate her reamins. i never carry that much cash on me. she then told me i would have to drive down the street to a all night check cashing place and get her cash and that my sister who drove me to the clinic would have to stay there untill i arrived with the cash. my sister told them i was not driving anywhere in the condition i was in. so i wrote her a check and left. when i arrived home the lady at the front desk called my house and said that if i did not come right back up there with the cash that night , my dog would not be cremated. omg i paid for her cremation i thought. so i returned the next day with cash and was givin my check back and my Dee Dee was still there at the location i left her the day before. so i wanted to make other arrangments for her b/c i did not trust they would cremate her after the way i was treated. i ask for my $50.00 back and was told we do not give cash refunds to anyone ,you will get your money back by check in the mail in about six weeks. and she was cruel about it. omg i would never treat a dog the way i was treated at this place, it seemed they are only in for the money, no compassion what so ever. im telling my story so this will not happen to anyone else. carolyn. rest in peace DEE DEE. i love you.

The veterinarian and one of the vet techs that were working when I took my lab puppy (1 year old) at 11 pm for a visit were very rude an unprofessional. I took my puppy in because her suture site that she had done 3 days prior to get soayed was bleeding and looked infected. My dog is a rescue dog and she is scared of people she doesnt know or trust, ans obviously terrified of being in a vet. She was shaking and whining in pain. The Te h dragged her back before letting me explain that she is skittish and tries to run if she is scared. They refused to let me help go back with her to leAd her or help calm her down. After hearing whimpering and loud yelps she came running in the front lobby limping ans crying. The dr Sarah Stratmann came out very agruvated and annoyed. She said she refused to treat my puppy bc she was scared she might fear bite her. She also said she wouldnt be able to even look as her suture site and that she believed this dog wil bitee andt kids. This dog has never bitten anyone and loves my kids and I. She is the sweetest most loyal dog Ive ever had. She is a 50lbs female lab puppy. The. The dr says to me and I quote "she recommends me thinking about outing her down as she believes her quality of life wouldnt be good if she is scared of strangers" ans that I really need to think about doing this. She obviously has no desire or compassion to help animals and shouls t definitely not be in this profession if you are scared of a shaking, sad, scared puppy. Would she put her kids down if they were scared to go get surgery ans shots at their doctors? Because she did not clean the wounds and assess them ans we had to wait to go back to the normal vet the next morning. The infection has now spread to innER abdominal wall from the outter suture area and requires now major surgery again and lots of meds. I was also charged a full exam fee for no exam at all. The tech was very rude as well. She didnt answer any of my questions and was very short and pushy. I save animals lives I dont kill animals especially ones who have had a rough start to life ans a timid and trying to gain trust of humans. This lady needs to be removed from veterinary EM regency medicone. Thank God she isnt in the real medicile field with children or adults. How scary to have someone with no bed side mannir OR any ethics! Go somehwee else do NOt take your dog here.

I took my precious, very sick puppy to this place; she was on the brink of death. Dr. Bronin was much more concerned with having me pre-pay for almost $2000 worth of tests, than he was with saving my dog, or being honest with me about her chances of survival. I asked him to run one test at a time and see what the results were before going on with the next. After the results of the first test, it was obvious that the others werent necessary. I was prepared to pay the $1500 for the additional services to keep her alive there until morning, when I would have to take her to a REAL vet. My husband suggested that I ask Dr. Bronin what her chances were. When I did, he reluctantly told me (only after I put numbers out) that she had as little as a 10% chance of survival. I was still ready to do whatever it took. While they were preparing the paperwork for the charges, my baby took a turn for the worse. Dr. Bronin came in and tried to get me to committ to pay for putting her down. I asked to see her, she died in my arms and he was still trying to sell me the shot, to "make sure" she was dead. Dr. Bronin acted like a used car salesman. He was much more concerned with squeezing every penny he could from me, knowing that my baby was too sick to pull through. I am so sad that I took her there. If I had come into contact with an honest vet, I could have held her and spent that last bit of time with her instead of her being in the back hooked up to machines while he pretended that he could save her and guilted me into spending money that wasnt necessary. Or maybe an honest vet would have focused on truly trying to save her and maybe he/she could have. I will never know. I do know that there arent many emergency vet clinics out there, but dont use this one. If you have to, ask for someone other than Dr. Bronin. Shame on you Dr. Bronin! You are a heartless person who I am sure is disppointed you could only get $800 from me before my precious puppy died. You have no business caring for animals, or the people who love them. The only positive thing I can say about this clinic is that the Technician was kind and appeared to truly care about my precious puppy. Other than that, going to this clinic made an already tragic experience even more so.
