We just moved here and thought we found a great down to earth vet clinic. Boy was i ever wrong. took my pregnant female Bulldog that was due any day /any minute and to get checked out and to make sure they did c section and would be ready for my baby girl, all was good i was told they would do it etc lets just hope it doesnt happen this weekend the DR. said. (memorial weekend) well that night early morning her temp dropped then water broke at 5:30am called DR at 8am right when they opened so i could get her in right away for the c section, I was told by the receptionist let me go talk to the DR. and she returned with this msg>>that the DR was booked all day and couldnt do it. and would call one of the other vets to see if they could do it and would call me back 1 hr later exactly still no call back so i called and receptionist said oh she just got off the phone with DR and they cant do it either sorry, so here i sit with nothing planned for my baby girl. So i started calling around trying to find someone that would get her in. Ended up going 45 mins to a AWESOME CLINIC and DRs it took 2 more phone calls to get the x-rays faxed and emailed to the new vet and Guess what still no phone call from the damn DR. that said they would call me right back. I ended up loosing my pup due to this clinic. Never in my life have i heard a clinic take appointments over a critical or emergency. I worked in a clinic you call clients reset up their appts to make room for the emergency . never met a one not re schedule over something like puppys being born. I do not recommend this clinic at all. even though they are nice people and have cheaper prices than anyone else. This just pissed me off to no end hearing them words from a DR. there. Im sure not all DR. are the same but the one i had doesnt deserve to be working as a vet. I was lied to and pretty much robbed they got their visit a x-ray money and i got a dead puppy and hurt mommy

We came into the clinic around 10 a.m. on Saturday and were admitted to one of the two new vets (we met with the young man) at around 11:30. Not a ridiculous wait, but enough to make you expect better service than we received. We went to get shots on our 3 month old boxer puppy and 3.5 year old dachshund. The vet spoke to us for about two minutes after giving our dogs shots and in that time he "told" us that we "must come back for surgery" because our boxer puppys testicle hadnt dropped yet. I was a little taken back by the fact that he was not giving a recommendation but trying to guilt us into a surgery. He gave our boxer puppy a parvo shot, but would not give him a rabies shot and informed us we had to come back for another visit in a couple weeks, because they give rabies to dogs at 3 months, but they prefer to give it at 16 weeks. I deciphered that he wanted us to come back and pay for another vet visit to get more money out of us. Well low and behold our boxer puppys testicle dropped in a week (which is what I expected after researching online). Therefore, the vet telling us that it would not drop and that he "must" have surgery was completley incorrect and based on a scheme to get more money out of us. Ive heard great reviews about the old vet who I believe has retired, but these new vets are only interested in your money and didnt seem to give two craps about our dogs. In summary we waited for nearly two hours to talk to a vet for two minutes in which time they lied to us to swindle us out of more money. I do not recommend this vet and I truly hope the clinic finds veterinarians that are more ethical than this so called professional.

I have a geriatric Chihuahua who is my beloved baby. I began bringing her to Dr. Jung about 3 years ago when I moved in with my boyfriend, who had been taking his animals to Dr. Jung all his life. I was used to high priced sparkley-loungey offices that charged exhorbitant fees for everything you can think of...and recommended things you didnt even need as though you did.( No one wants to think they havent taken proper care of their fuzzy kids! )Anyway, initially I was nervous, but as soon as I met "Jung" as they lovingly call him there...I LOVED HIM! He clearly LOVES animals, and specializes in cats and dogs, so he really knows what hes talking about. Hes to the point, honest, and kind. He handles my girl with respect and talks to her like I do. In fact, he does so with ALL the people and animals that come in. His prices are so low I wonder if hes being fair to himself, but he clearly enjoys what hes doing and seems satisfied with his simple setup. I know I have to get my kid in early if I dont have all day....so what? I LOVE the people, and I know they are going to straight up, take the best, most loving care of her without breaking the bank. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys the simple things in life, is patient, and truly loves their fuzzy kids.

We took a healthy running, playing kitten for a health check. Was told she was fine. They dewormed her and whatever else $50.00. By the the end of the day she began a steady decline. We took her back to the same vet.all the sudden she needed fluids and antibiotics??? Another $100.00 and said she would be fine if we followed instructions given in which we did.Our kitten La-la died today of a obvious painful death!!!!! Keep in mind she was fine when we first took her in. We only took her in because she was going to be an inside cat. All 4 of her siblings are still running and playing outside in the barn with no issues. Called the vet again as she was dying did not seem to concerned and actually told me how much it would cost to put her to sleep before she had even passed.. Asked if I could bring her back and was told they were booked for the day even after I told her she was dying. Was told the would try to work her in.Very disappointed, and left my wife and daughter heart broken. I have used this clinic for years when Dr. Jung was the vet. This is definitely not clinic that it was before. Seems collecting fees is more important than the patient. So you decide what happen here. Heartbroken.

We came in today as our almost 10 year old boxer has a tumor that is starting to grow at a vigorous rate. We saw the same woman Dr. Sampson (I think) that we saw about it 10 months ago. She was so lovely about the entire situation. My sweet dog has breast cancer and also the tumor in her leg is cancerous. She talked about the many options we had and then told us what she would do if this were her dog. She sat on the floor and played and talked to my dog. I really felt as though she truly cared about us, our dog and this situation. We really liked Dr. Jung as my husband grew up in Rowlett and have been bringing their pets here for years. With the circumstances of our situation she really made us feel better and asked us to call if we had problems and she would prescribe something else, no extra Dr. visit needed. The price is very reasonable but it always has been here. One thing I love is not only the nice staff but the other customers are always friendly as well. AS long as we live within 30 miles, we will be bringing out dogs here.
