This vet has really gone down hill over the last few years. I used to come here with all of my pets (Yorkies, cats) until I brought in a 1 lb teacup yorkie for his puppy shots and well check. WITHOUT any concern, they gave him a 7 way vaccine which contains the same amount of drug that they would give to a 50lb dog. My yorkie almost died. We immediately called Airpark, and they promptly saw him, but then charged me approx 300.00 to give him drugs to counteract the toxic reaction rather than admit that they had done wrong. Recently, our family cat that was almost 20 years old began to shut down. I called and asked them for advice, they said do what you want however we charge 200+ for putting an animal to sleep. I couldnt believe it! I called the Carroll County Humane Society and they were incredibly compassionate and ended up putting himi to sleep for 40.00. Since these incidents, I have transferred my business to another local vet but just to show a difference. My older yorkie, now 12 years old, has epilepsy. He is checked every year for his potassium bromide levels. Airpark has gone up so much in price that they now charge almost 130.00 for this simple test. When I asked why it had gone from 90.00 to 130.00, they said that was how much they were being charged by the lab facility. This is actually not true. My new vet does the exact same test and sends to the identical lab for 107.00. It seems to me that they are just gouging their clients.

I really like the vets a lot but they have become MUCH more expensive then they ever were and never seem to be able to fit an animal in for a last minute appointment any more unless its a higher fee "emergency" exam. I think we are all paying for their upgrade to solar. The front desk staff have also changed and are much less friendly and adept then the previous staff were . I had to put a cat to sleep last week and this morning first thing I get a call cheerily stating , "Hi Im calling because you forgot to pay for the euthanasia." You know...because I was only THERE THREE HOURS and I paid the bill I was given at the time. Mail a bill for Gods sake! Way to ruin my morning. A little sensitivity? I dont think I will be going back here after that after years of being a VERY muti-pet client.

My cat was seen by Dr. Ben Kable today. He was excellent, as well as their staff. My neighbor recommended us and accompanied us to his appointment here today. We feared the worst because our previous vet gave a terrible diagnosis and did not take any time with our precious Kitty. Dr. Kable performed all necessary tests and showed the amount of care youd hope for when seeing an animal doctor. Thank you! With the proper meds, and tests, we hope to see a huge improvement in our little buddy. Im grateful for the recommendation to this animal hospital. You folks were fantastic and I feel more confident in his recovery than ever. 5 star experience! And I think my little catbro would say the same!

I have been taking my dogs to this veterinary practice since it was on Bond Street, like 30 years ago. Over the years, they have taken care of our familys dachshunds, beagles, coonhound, and cocker spaniels. Its not cheap (although I havent shopped around) but I trust them and am extremely confident in the high quality care they give. All of the doctors have been very kind, attentive, and thorough. All of the vets are patient and explain things well. I have never had a bad experience. In addition, Dr. Herrick was very compassionate when it was time for our last furbaby to cross the Rainbow Bridge, and even came to our house because she was unable to walk and too heavy to carry.

It never ceases to amaze me, the quality of care my dogs have gotten from Airpark through the years. From the time you walk through the front door, with the front desk girls treating your dogs like Rock Stars, to the attention to detail from the Doctors. Especially Dr. Vanous! We LOVE her! She is always professional and has always been there for us! My dogs have never been a fan of going to the Vet, but that never stopped Dr. Vanous. She has a gentleness that relaxes my pups and makes the appointments easy. We HIGHLY recommend Airpark to anyone looking for quality care for their pets!! ~~Sandra Fleet

Misdiagnosed two of my dogs issues. Not once but twice I had dogs suffer because of them. Once had an x-ray done and missed the fact the dogs leg was broken, her leg never healed correctly because of this mistake. My second dog had a crooked paw since she was a puppy and they said nothing could be done. We learned later at a different vet that something could have been done! She is in pain everyday because of this mistake. I hate being reminded about this place. It was also very expensive to go here. I later find out other people have had bad experiences here.

many procedures contraindicated and dangerous to your pet. READ THE INTERNET ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY PUSH FOR A PROCEDURE. THE MORE THEY PUSH, THE MORE YOUR RED FLAGS SHOULD GO UP! SOME PROCEDURES ARE BANNED IN SOME PLACES but bring good income to them, obviously. BE CAREFUL! KNOWLEDGE IS YOUR ONLY WEAPON-DONT EXPECT MEDICAL HONESTY! Theyre nice, well equipped but the past 3 procedures were 100% against recommendations (hindsight), wasting hard earned money while endangering my pets. Now I cant undue what theyve done. Never again!

We have been using this practice for nearly 10 years now. The Doctors and Staff have always been professional and compassionate. We have recommended them to other Giant Breed owners and they have been the official vet for several rescue organizations weve worked with over the years. We will be hard pressed to find another Vet practice as good as this one when we move out of the region.
