Friendly service--reasonable prices. I took my Yorkie here for the first time, he’s healthy and well just needed an annual exam and catch up on vaccines. I decided to try this place because it was very close to my apartment and there was a Yelp discount. I called the office and the receptionist was very nice and informative. There’s a discount on vaccines on Tuesdays and Saturdays! Our appointment was at 6:00pm but we weren’t seen until 6:30pm. Two cats and a Yorkie puppy were being checked out when we got there. We were probably the last appointment of the day and there was only one vet staffed at the time that I could tell. The vet tech that assisted and Dr. Boone (the father I believe) were very nice and helpful. Dr. Boone drew blood for a heartworm test and explained to us everything he was doing and what we should be looking for. We actually left learning a few things. Our exam was discounted because of Yelp and we were new, our vaccines were discounted because we went on a Tuesday, and they had competitive prices on their meds. We left with an invoice of less than $200 which is great. I’m happy with our decision to give this place a try despite the negative reviews. I will gladly take my dogs there again.

Yesterday was our first experience at the Adams Morgan Animal Hospital and it couldnt have gone anymore better. We took our two kittens in for a check up and shots. The staff was simply wonderful, the place was very clean, they were very professional (yet gentle and sweet), and honestly the price was just right. I see some reviews are commenting on the price but what are you expecting to pay for your fuzzy loved ones? I thought with everything being so great, I cant complain about the price. Thank you guys so much. Well be back soon. :)

My first visit to the Adams Morgan Animal Hopsital was very positive. The front desk staff were very friendly and I only had to wait for a few minutes to see Dr. Boone. I have two new born kittens and he was very gentle with them. He diagnosed a problem one of them had and made recommendations that made sense. I had heard about price gouging at some other clinics but that was not the case here. They even have discount vaccination days. I think I have found a hospital I feel comfortable taking the "kids" to.

Ive been taking my animals to Adams Morgan Animal Hospital for 10 years now. I do like the staff and docs but feel that their costs are very expensive. A new charge that came up on our bill last week was a $4.35 charge for needle disposal. Something about that is very wrong. For one, typically facilities pay a base fee for bulk disposal of needles etc, not by the needle. Now they are charging that much for each one used? Someone is making a lot of money off this and with this economy it offends me.

The staff at the Adams Morgan Animal Hospital are always friendly and professional. My dog has had a series of digestive issues and the father-son team has been diligent in narrowing down the source of the problem, with out pushing expensive products or services that are unnecessary. Im extremely surprised by the negative reviews and find them hard to believe. The entire staff truly cares for the wellbeing and safety of my pet.

My dog loves going here and has for almost 10 years. I agreed with some previous posts that they are a little pricey, but worth it for the convenience. Also, do a little due-diligence and if you dont think your pet needs a service they recommend, say NO. Its really easy to tell them you dont need to spend $400 for a tooth cleaning. Always clean, always friendly. Otherwise, I love the convenience and my dog loves her doctor.

Lovely, professional, kind and caring to us and, of course, more importantly, to our Timmy. I have been a client of the AdMo Animal Hospital for more than 20 years. My current kitty is 14 and has been their patient since she joined our household. I cant speak highly enough of the doctors, technicians and staff. Each visit renews my sense that this is an exceptionally competent, caring and joyful veterinary clinic. Were fortunate to have them in the neighborhood.

This place will cheat you out of your money. Yet, wont communicate with you on why all these charges are being added to your bill, and on top of that over price everything. Also Dr. Boone needs to learn how to communicate with owners and not get annoyed with questions, especially if hes going to have the audacity to charge out the box. Dont waste your time or money hear.

I love my vet! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. When my sweet labrador was ill they were compassionate & understanding and worked to make sure he got better quickly. I highly recommend them!

Took my kitten in for his first visit, and the people could not have been nicer. The place was clean, there was no wait, and the tech was gentle and friendly. Its pricey, but youre paying for quality care.

It is very pricey to have pets in DC in general. But after you go to this place, it is gonna hit you pretty hard. But the doctors and staff are nice and responsive
