It would be impossible to say enough good things about AHCC. I have a house full of animals with special needs, and we spend a lot of time at the vet. They are professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable, to say the least. The front reception staff is always gracious and helpful, and even when I call close to closing with an emergency, they tell me to bring the animal in. These folks go above and beyond all the time. Prices are very reasonable. And every vet there is willing to explain fully what they are seeing, what they think needs to be done, and to listen to my questions or concerns about a pets health and treatment. They are terrific folks.

The veterinarians here are very knowledgeable and compassionate. The front end staff is extremely friendly and never make me feel like I am a nuisance even though I know I can be. :) The technicians are wonderful. My animals receive outstanding care and I always receive call backs to my questions in a timely fashion. The prices are very reasonable. We found them on an emergency basis some years ago when we were on vacation and we used them as our "second" vet. But recently we have changed that due to their outstanding care. They are our only vet now and we drive over three hours to see them....thats how awesome they are!

I just had my first expereince with the staff at Animal Health Care in Hershey, Unfortunatley, it was to have my elderly cat, Beans, put to sleep. To say that our vet was compassionate is an understatment. She was kind to my Beans and to me. I will never forget how she helped me though this traumatic event. As long as I live in the area, my pets will be going there. And though it may sound a bit crass to mention this, they were very reasonable with their rates as well. Truly helpful in every sense of the word. As I said - I will never go anywhere else again for the care of my pets. Thank you Animal Health Care of Hershey!

We have received such great care here at the Animal Health Care Center. The cost is very reasonable and the every single one of the staff that Ive met is kind, friendly and compassionate. I have taken my dog here for routine check ups as well as last minute emergencies. When my dog was hit by a car and injured they saw me immediately and after x-rays and an exam they then referred me directly to a surgeon for screws and plates for my dogs fractured leg. Overall, if you are looking for a great vet in the Hershey/Palmyra/Hummelstown area, definitely come here. I am thrilled to have found it.

I was told by the owner that the part time veterinarians are not always informed of the new policies and procedures. I asked about payment arrangements. He needed IV fluids, IV antibiotics and to stay overnight. She did not respond to the payment arrangement question. Long story short, my dog would quite possibly be a physical dog instead of remains in a box if the people of this establishment were trained properly. However, they made a paw print impression of my dog which I am grant full for. The ladies at the front desk were very kind.

Weve been to several vets in the area over the years, but this practice was the only one that correctly diagnosed and treated our longsuffering cat. They now care for all of our animals. The level of care, compassion, and sense of community here is remarkable.
