7/7/2014 If you truly love your pets and want them to have the best of care, I would highly recommend Carlisle Small Animal Vet Clinic. Dr. Curt Barnett and his staff will give you 110% in caring for your pets. I have had the unfortunate experience of Veterinary care where it was about money and what was the most expensive, not necessarily the best procedure that could be done on my pet. Not so with Dr. Barnet! That entire clinic is only about what is best for your pet and to support the owner. My cat Mo who has Chronic Renal Failure and diabetes is in their care and doing remarkably well. No, this is not cheap to treat, but Mo is worth it. I left there one day with Mos health supplies and the girls made certain to tack $15.00 worth of coupons on my bill! How many clinics do that? I am telling you their hearts are in the right place and sure Vet bills are costly these days, but that is Not what Carlisle Small Animal Clinic is all about. You will get the most current knowledge and treatment, everything is explained in detail to you, all your questions are answered and you can depend on them to follow up and always be there for you. If it wasnt for Dr. Barnett and all the time he has taken to work so closely with Mo and I, I dont think Mo would be here today. More importantly, Mo IS enjoying quality of life and I cannot thank him and his wonderful staff enough. I also know they will be their for Mo and I when the day comes to make the hard decisions. I personally will not take my pets any where else for all their health needs. My French Bulldog, Nolan cannot wait to get in their door for his checkups and pouts when its time to leave! Honestly! God Bless you, Dr. Barnett!!! Sharron & Mo Britton Mechanicsburg, PA 17055

I have known Dr. Barnett for probably over 40 years.. He is one of a kind. What you see in him is real. He has such a caring soul about him. He goes out of his way to help care for our little human animals that we love so much. I’ve had to put down 4 of my most loved dogs…thru the years.. But when I had to put the first one down, my Shemon with the large brown eyes, that I had loved so much for 11 years. My heart broke as I cried and looked to Dr. Barnett, and the tears fell from his eyes, that day. I knew that Curt was not just any “Veterinarian” . It showed his character and the man, I already knew he was, and the respect I have for him not only as my Vet..but as my friend. I consider him family after all these years. He not only cares about our animals ..He cares about the owners or what I call us …Mom and Dad of our babies.. US I am now dealing with my sweet Sassi, (schnauzer) she is diabetic. He has been there for us and Sassi.. He has gone out of his way to help me with her. It’s a day to day thing with her. And he is with us for whatever.. He is someone you can count on with your animal.. Dr. Barnett has a great staff. They are all very caring as well.. Even back to long ago still some there with him…Pam, Diane, Janice, remember Sandy.. And all the other ladies.. They all love our animals and treat them so special. They all know little Sassi when she walks in… Its just a great friendly Clinic.. I just can’t say enough about them all… .they treat people the way you would want to be treated and our human little animals….we love…as well.. I Trust all these great people…they are all very special and I have complete trust in every one of them..

My dog of 15 years recently suffered medical issues and needed to be put to sleep. He was suffering and in absolute pain. I had talked to my vet of five + years about this and she had said (Dr. Sands, DONT EVER USE HER) when the time came she would be available to put him down. Well the time came at 5:05pm on a Tuesday and apparently that was outside of her business hours. I began to panic as my poor dog was miserable and visibly suffering. I called multiple places and no one had "an appointment" (as if this is something that everyone schedules with a lot of advance notice). I was distraught and desperate when I finally called Carlisle Small Animal Veterinary Clinic. The receptionist informed me that they were down a vet that day and had no appointments but told me to hold. After informing the staff of the issue, Dr. Barnett said that he would stay after to help us out. They took us in, never having seen us before, and ended our babys suffering. Dr. Barnett and his tech were absolutely INCREDIBLE. They had such compassion and treated our dog with such respect. I have never been so grateful to anyone before and I will remember these amazing people forever. It wasnt about money or time for them, they just didnt want our dog to suffer. We will now be taking our other two dogs to them. I cant recommend this location enough. So unbelievably grateful for Carlisle SAVC.

The folks at CSAC are wonderful. Always excited to se my boys or the cat herd and they are so knowledgeable. If I call with a question they need to ask one of the vets, they are quick to return with an answer usually in a couple of hours. The vets here are all great too. I have a Bluetick Coonhound puppy (Ruger!) that I took in for a visit because a puppy tooth fell out that smelled rotten and his breath smelled rotten and he was seen, was deemed infection-free and I was not charged for the visit. I took him in for a second urgent visit because he had a tick on his tongue and by the time we were seen, he dislodged it and was given a clean bill of health. Again, I was not charged for a visit. So these folks are great, I would recomme,d them in a heartbeat. Another great thing is that they take CareCredit too. If it werent for them accepting that, my pets would not have been able to all be seen in the timeframe they were. Thanks for being so great!

I have been a client of the Carlisle Small Animal Clinic and Dr Curt Barnett for more than 26 years. I have always received kind and courteous service from the entire staff. The office runs smoothly and professionally while at the same time treating each and every client as a friend. I can honestly say each of my pets (currently numbering 5) has been treated with love and kindness. I feel as though my pets care is the most important factor in the clinics business. The reception staff always greets my pets with a hug and a pat...and sometimes even a treat. I have had the horrible task of seeing a number of my pets over the Rainbow Bridge. Each time we were treated with dignity and respect. Each time the doctor has stayed with me (and even cried with me) until I was ready to say my final "good-bye". I cannot say enough how much I LOVE the staff at the Carlisle Small Animal Clinic. They have made me feel like I am a member of their "family".

I have been taking my cats and dogs to Carlisle Small Animal Veterinary Clinic since we moved to Carlisle three years ago. We have moved around quite a bit and have liked our veterinary offices well enough along the way. This veterinary office is my favorite. My fur babies have had several illnesses, a couple animal bite wounds, and an abscess. Carlisle Small Animal Vet staff has always taken great care of my babies and helped to calm my fears and anxiety when needed. They havent thrown in unnecessary cost or procedures, and they thoroughly explain everything and anything I need/want to know. There is no question in my mind that they genuinely care for animals and their humans. Weve been seen mostly by Dr. Barnett. He is extremely kind, and knowledgeable and has the best veterinary "bedside" manner I have ever experienced. We have also been seen by Dr. Eckenrode who is a close second to Dr. Barnett for the aforementioned.
