There is no other vet practice that can compare to Forney Animal Hospital. Dr. Nix and Dr. Hammond are very skilled and extremely caring vets. They have gone way beyond the "call of duty" for me and my dogs over and over again. Their expertise is phenomenal and they also network with other vet. specialists. Their patience and attitude of caring compassion both for my dogs and for me is so far beyond what is normally given or expected...they are like family to me. All of the staff, (vet techs, front desk, kennel folk, etc.)...everyone there truly cares about my dogs and treats them with total love and special care as if they were the only patients they have. I have been a client for over 17 years and would never take my pets anywhere else. I highly recommend Forney Animal Clinic to everyone I know !! Your pets will receive the highest quality of care mixed with the highest level of compassion and that will also be extended to you, the pet family. Give them a call and you will find out. ****Wanted to add that now 2 years later than my first review I still find Forney Animal Hospital to be the most caring and expert veterinary care ever. Dr. Chambless has joined the staff and he is fantastic as is Dr. Nix. I have had many very difficult experiences with my dogs in the past two years and Forney Animal Hospital and the staff have gone way beyond their duty to show love, care and concern for my dogs and for me. You will NOT find a better practice anywhere.

I had been using corporation type vet clinics for some time, and my dog had some tumors on his foot which the corporation vet quoted over two thousand dollars and likely the loss of my dogs entire leg. I sought out a vet clinic that could not only handle the surgery, but had a more personal atmosphere...I found Forney Animal Hospital. The have the small town friendliness I wanted and the high tech facilities my dog needed. The cost for my dogs surgery was a third of the corporation vet, and our entire experience was wonderful. The staff are great and most have been there quite a long time, they must love their jobs and what they do. Dr. Dan Hammond was so kind and patient and walked us through everything that would happen. I HIGHLY recommend Forny Animal Hospital.

My family are major animal lovers, especially dogs. We have lived in Forney for fourteen years and tried to save a few bucks during that time, trying different veterinary facilities. Having gone full circle" we will only use Forney Animal Hospital from now on. With all due respect, weve had no terrible experiences at the other locations, but overall FAH has proven to be the most professional, personable, and successful with regard to treatment, of all the facilities we have used. Above all, their sensitive and caring handling of the euthanizing of our fifteen and sixteen year old Chihuahuas on the same day, we will always appreciate and never forget.

Have had many vets over the years and my husband and I agree Dr. Chambless is our favorite. He takes time to explain things to you, gives you all the options with no pressure, and really does seem to care. The prices at Forney Animal Hospital are very fair, you never leave there feeling like they took advantage of the fact you are going to do whatever you can to help your 4 legged family member. The waiting room is huge with a separate area for dogs and cats. Appointments are spread out so you dont have to wait more than a couple of minutes. They even have online appointment scheduling. Cant recommend them enough!

Forney Animal Hospital, in my book, is like family. They truly care about our four legged children and give them the utmost of care and concern. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, courteous, kind and knowledgeable. The Drs and attending staff are or have to be the best in the area. Unless there is an extreme emergency, I will not take my "children" to any other veterinarian for their attention and care. Feel rest assured that when you go to Forney Animal Hospital, only the best of the best treatment and care be given to your loved ones.. Thank you FAH !!!!!!

Dr. Chambless and Ashley were awesome !!!!! They were very caring and gentle with my dog. Dr. Chambless Took the time and explained to me everything about my dog. I have been impressed by the care the employees have given to my dogs. We have used them for both regular care and a place for the family pets to stay while we were on vacation. We felt comfortable leaving the dogs in their care for a week. The pets seemed happy and well cared for on our return. I would happily recommend Forney Animal Hospital to anyone for the care of their furry family members.

Forney Animal Hospital were great this morning. My normal vet could not see my dog even though it was an emergency and referred me to them. They got us in right away. Dr Anderson and Preston took awesome care of my 14 year old dog explaining everything. They got my dog out of the truck and got him back in. My new Vet. Thank you.

I recently had to have the vet put my best friend of 15 years to sleep, she lived a good long life.The vets were attentive to my needs and feelings.The staff worked 101% with me to do what was neccessary. My dad was a vet for 37 years so i know a good vet when i meet one. steve nash
