I cannot begin to tell everyone how truly lucky and blessed we are to be living so close to an amazing veterinary clinic. Dr. Dan and his staff have helped me out tremendously in so many ways that I am so grateful for and will never forget. We have all been in that situation where we bring our pets into a clinic and either the veterinarian is not thorough, not kind, or trying to convince you to give your pet every shot and vaccine available under the $un. It doesnt have you driving home with a sense of relief or your worries washed away. If anything youre asking yourself, "did my pet really need all of that?" I promise you, this is NOT that type of clinic. The amount of love that Dr. Dan and his staff have for animals is incredible. Ive never felt pressured here and Ive always had my questions answered thoroughly. Dr. Dan has even taken the time to demonstrate how to properly take care of my pet in an emergency situation. Anita is always so kind and funny at the counter. She is extremely helpful and will go the extra mile to help you out. Dr. Dan and Anita are hysterical together and I always know Ill get a good laugh before I leave. She is such a wonderful asset to the clinic and I hope she plans to stay there for a long time! Thank you Anita for all your hard work. If youre looking for a clinic that is loving, honest, sanitary and well priced and youre wanting the best care for the life of your pet with the best doctor and staff - Midtown Animal Hospital. I promise you will feel the exact same way. Theyre truly one of a kind and I will always be grateful for the help theyve given me and my pets. I would recommended them to ANYONE in a heartbeat.

My cat was acting like she had something stuck in her mouth (licking her lips, shaking her head etc). When my boyfriend and I looked in her mouth there was clearly a large red blister like spot on one of her teeth. Took her to Midtown Animal Hospital for a free dental exam. The vet did not introduce himself and was not very personable at all. He looked at her teeth first and then asked us to show him the problem. I am not a vet and as soon as I looked in her mouth I saw the problem. Why didnt he? Then he recommends an extraction of the tooth. That might be what she needs, but if he cant see her very red swollen gums around the tooth that needs to be extracted on his own then how do I know that hell even pull the correct tooth? He was also kind of rough with the rabies vaccine he gave her. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, thats the only reason for 2 stars instead of one. Also the resident cat "Fred" was pretty awesome! Almost 18 years old and still jumping around!

Not nice to my Cat. Did not introduce himself. Inspected Cats teeth on his own and did not find anything wrong, then asked me if I could find any problems...I said yes, then he asked for my assistance to locate dental issue. Why is doctor dan even in business? How can anyone understand what he says...hes got a foreign tongue and he does not even try to speak English! Likes: Does have a half-assed separation from the dogs and does have a sweet resident Cat. Conclusion: All the other reviews must be fake. Is he really even a vet?

My husband and I recently brought a new furry family member home about 7 months ago. We had no idea where to go . A gentlemen I work with said he loved Midtown Animal Hospital. We called and made an appointment. We immediately fell in love! The staff was very welcoming and answered all of our new puppy parenting questions! And as for Dr. Dan he was great with our puppy Maddie. I love that he still remembers us and our puppy Maddie. I definitely would recommend Midtown to anyone with a furry family member. :)

The Working Dog Life

All went well until I called to plan a spay. Both times something has gone wrong. The first time it was a machine. The second time they said they couldnt perform the type of spay I wanted even though we had already planned the spay and i had asked long before hand if they perform and they told me they did. Then they call last minute and cancel the spay and refer me to a different vet. Im tired of this. A different vet it is. Hopefully they can spay asap because I have a contract Im under.

My dog recieved the best care of any vet we have ever been to. He had a hemotoma in his ear and was treated at his former vet without success. I asked a friend for a recommendation on a new vet and she told me about midtown. The care he got was extremely personalized. The doctor and the staff took the time to understand my dogs personality and temperment so they could be effective and gentle with him. Thanks so much. You have a customer for life.

Dr. Dan is the most gentle Veterinarian I have seen in quite a long time. He is extremely competent and always has the best interest of your furbaby as top priority. The staff is most knowledgeable and can answer most questions easily and know how to schedule appointments appropriately. I am most pleased with the care my kitties have received and never hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Dan and the other employees are the kindest and the best! I have been taking my Lab puppy there since day 1 and I really couldnt ask for more. They are always friendly and polite, and you can tell they actually care about each animal. The prices are reasonable too, especially compared to local stores (I price checked). I look forward to bringing my pup here for a long time.

Dr. Dan and his assistants are so wonderful! They got me in at short notice, had no problems with it! They were able to give me the help I needed for my dog, they updated her shots and got her appointment set up for her to get fixed immediately. Appropriately priced and kind hearted staff, would definitely recommend to anyone!!!!!

Ive been taking my pets to Dr. Sutarov for the past 25 years, and he is phenomenal! I would never go anywhere else. The entire staff is friendly, and are wonderful with the animals. Best vet downriver!!!
