My friend and I brought his dog to Harmony Crossing Animal Hospital. The poor pup had been missing, but we were lucky enough to find him about a day and a half later after another vet contacted us. The dog had been hit by a car, but he seemed ok--we were just so happy to have found him! Soon after we had picked him up, we noticed his breathing was shallow and a bit uneven--the vet he was brought to also missed a tick near the dogs eye, and didnt mention a scrape under his arm. The next morning, we went to Harmony Crossing and they couldnt have been better! They were friendly, understanding, and clearly loved animals. Also, they did not push the issue of an x-ray (although we had one done just in case; after all, you cant see internal injuries without one). With their help, we were able to find out the dog had a couple of internal problems. They prescribed a couple of medications and dog food. The list of things they did was quite long, but the price was surprising! It was extremely reasonable. Harmony Crossing is so fantastic that I wish I lived near Eatonton so I could bring my dogs there.

I went to Harmony Crossing because my Vet was closed. The staff and Dr. Richter could not have been better. They recognized how distressed I was over my 13 year old Blue Tick Hound, Belle. My usual Vet had been pumping prednisone into Belle, which was masking Belles main health problems. Dr. Richter took X-rays and saw what the problem was "tumors". He recommended that I take Belle to The U Ga Vet School. He and his staff made the arrangement for Belle to be seen as an emergency case. Prior to leaving for Athens, Dr. Richter prepared me for the worst possibilities. So when the Doctors in Athens informed me that there was no hope for Belle surviving surgery, I made the difficult decision to have her put to sleep and stop her from suffering any longer. The following day Dr. Richter called to express his condolences and now a week later I just received a card from the staff. We loved Belle and miss her dearly. When we decide to adopt another pet, Harmony Crossing Animal Hospital will be our first stop.

While vacationing in Eatonton my husky/german shepard mix became lame. We assumed he jumped off the bed, with the result being he could not walk at all. Luckily the nearest vet was Harmony Crossing. Fearing the worst, we arrived the moment they opened on a Saturday morning. They whisked me right in and we didnt have to wait at all. Dr. Richter provided a thorough exam and took xrays. It turned out Harley had a slipped disc and the doctor felt quite certain that with the proper medication our pup would recover fully. Its 4 days later and Harley is not limping at all. Not only did Dr. Richter take excellent care of my beloved boy, he calmed my fears. The fees were EXTREMELY reasonable and I believe I even said "is that all?" We vacation in the Eatonton area often and we are thrilled that we have a trusted doctor in the area for all of our fur-babies.

Have used Dr. Gibson and crew to care for both of my dogs. He has done surgery on one and continues to treat the other for a medical condition. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Gibson does good work and takes a lot of time with each customer.

The Vets and staff are top notch. We take our two Bostons there for all their medical needs. We have never been disappointed with our experience.
