I came to Cat Care initially in 2010 to fill a prescription for Heartgard, which my veterinarian at the time did not carry, and ended up being so impressed with Cat Care that I made them our primary vet—since 2011. I like that Cat Care specializes in cats only. Dr. Frank and Dr. Sloan always take the time to answer my questions, which I have a lot. :) The veterinarians and veterinary technicians have always been polite and courteous to us, and more importantly, our cats. Gabrielle has also been phenomenal to deal with and has always went out of her way to make sure our furry family received the best care possible, and answered a number of my emails very thoroughly and speedily. Other pros to note are how Cat Care provides estimates for services so customers have an understanding of what to expect with the bill, and how consistently Cat Care makes follow-up calls to check on the cats after an office visit, or to provide test results. The veterinary follow up calls really show a high level of care and compassion, to make sure each feline patient is on the right path of care. I believe the veterinary staff has each cat’s health and best interest at heart and that is the most important trait to find in a veterinary clinic. Dr. Sloan also immediately saw a cat that I found, hit by a vehicle on the side of the road, which I rushed in. Unfortunately, the sweet cat did not survive. Although I was heartbroken, Cat Care was very considerate to see her right away and tend to her, and even sent me a card with their sympathies.

If you have a cat who you adore (and one who, of course, adores you)...and if youre looking for a Vet who is "top o the heap" when it comes to knowledge, understanding, compassion and ability to make very clear the issues at hand, Dr. Richard Thoms at Cat Care of Rochester Hills (173 W. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307) is your guy. More than a year ago he diagnosed one of my cats with a serious thyroid issue...sent him immediately to a specialist in that field who had him "pop" a little radioactive pill...quarantined him for a couple of weeks...and his thyroid issue is long gone. Then my little old fellow developed spondylitis which was creating a problem for him going up and down the stairs. Dr. Thoms put him on Adequan, a shot my little guy gets once a week, and you should see him take the stairs. Now...just like a normal teenager (hes 14-1/2)... hes developed feline acne and a salve has been prescribed thats clearing it up. I put my total trust for the life of my cat in Dr. Thoms good hands and I know when the end finally comes, my precious little cat will know he was not only so loved but always kept in the best possible care.

Tux is going on 14 now, he does everything a cat should not do, he is out all night, gets in fights, eats strange critters, sleeps on the cold ground, rolls in the dirt, bits everyone but me, and generally a wild animal. While he has many scars and his aging arthritis, he is in perfect health. His teeth are gleaming white, his blood is pure and without problems, he has all the special vaccinations an out side cat should have and his weight is perfect. All of which is due to the great care he gets from Dr. Frank at Cat Care and the great advise I get to try and manage him, which is not easy. But that said he is still my best friend, and I wouldnt take him anywhere else!"

The Cat Care crew are all awesome! The receptionists at the front desk are so welcoming! The Drs and vet techs are very knowledgeable, and thorough with each appointment! It is obvious they genuinely care! Dr. Sloan is our primary Dr. She has a great personality! Shes so sweet, compassionate, and funny too! She explains all treatment options and helps us decide what we should try first. She follows up with a phone call the next day to check on our cat. Our family is so lucky to have Cat Care PC of Rochester Hills available. We would never even consider taking our cats anywhere else! We have been Cat Care clients since 1999. I cant say enough about my exemplary experience at Cat Care PC. The level of care and concern from the doctors, techs, and desk crew made me feel so comfortable with my decision to bring in our ailing 10 year old cat. After a thorough exam and workup, I was presented with a diagnosis, as well as information and instruction for his treatment at home. I even received an after-hours follow up phone call. It was recommendations from friends and great online reviews that brought us to the Cat Care clinic. Now I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Frank, Dr. Sloan, and the entire staff.

Our cats (all 6 of them) have been clients of Cat Care PC for many years. Dr. Sloan and Dr. Frank are very loving and caring vets who take the time to talk to us about our pets needs. They dont push tests to increase the size of the bill but instead discuss all options available to us and have even suggested some low or no-cost reatment options to help keep costs down. They make us feel like they are our personal vets who work exclusively for us. The staff is always smiling and friendly. Dr Frank is an excellent vet. She genuinely cares about my cats, and is patient with my misbehaving kitty. She also takes the time to make sure I understand the diagnosis and treatment options, and helps me make the best decision for them. She stays current on the latest research and treatments, and will pass this information along to me in a way that is relevant and easy to understand. All of the techs, especially Carol, treat us great! Highly recommend Cat Care.

I have been going to Cat Care for years. Dr. Frank is an amazing vet, and you can tell that the entire staff truly cares about cats. The service is always excellent, and while Watson doesnt look forward to the shots and other intrusions at his periodic visits, they do everything they can to make him comfortable. Previously, I took my cat to an "all-in-one" vet. Going to a vet that specializes in cats is so much better.

Even though we are now Florida residents, we make a special point to bring our girls to Dr. Pamela Frank for their annual checkups. The staff at Cat Care are professional, yet very caring when it comes to their "clients". When we had to euthanize our 19 year old cat, Ashley, the staff cried along with us. They truly care!!!

Cat Care PC of Rochester Hills provides wonderful patient care. When our cat started urinating outside the litter box suddenly and unexpectedly, Dr. Sloan was able to quickly diagnose and treat the medical cause with a successful outcome.
