I have 9 year old daughter that wants to be a vet. So I took her into the clinic and spoke with reception and explained this and asked if she could volunteer in the clinic and maybe get a tour. The reception explained that the owner would be on vacation for about a week and would pass the info onto him when he returned. I went back to the office about a week and a half later to follow up. I left my information again with reception who remembered my daughter. She went back to see the owner, I was told that he would call me the next day for sure. A few days went by with no call. I explained that my daughter was also a Girl Scout and she could use this opportunity to earn a badge as well. I called a few days later and again explained that my daughter wanted to volunteer and a your. The reception put on hold and another individual picked up the phone and indicated that they would give my daughters info to the owner. I finally stated we had done this three times now. I asked her to thank the receptionist but to pass a message along to the get. I indicated that I would not call back and that I was extremely disappointed in the Clinic after assuring us the last time of a call. I indicated that their customer service was horrible that I had brought a pet there in the past. I also indicated that the vet could have least of had the courtesy of calling and indicating that it wasnt possible...two minutes to call my daughter. Instead my daughter will form an opinion of a so called professional who she admired that couldnt even return a call and acknowledge her passion for helping animals. Thanks nucci!

I am the quintessential cat lady. I had tree cats each loved and each different. Recently took my baby in for her yearly exam and discovered that she had lost 3 pounds and the doc suspected a mass in her stomach. They were so patient with me as I decided what to do. The doc gave Abby 2 weeks to 2 months. She had cancer of the stomach. I took her home and loved her as much as I could and Sarah and Phoebe were loved as well. She tried jumping on my bed last night and didnt make it. As she tried to walk away she staggered and I knew the time had come. Everyone at the clinic was wonderful! Abbys last moments were filled with grace and compassion by Dr. Ravi and the assistant whose name I dont remember. What I know is Abby no longer hurts and what I believe is that in Gods place for loved pets she is jumping and running. She will be missed by Phoebe, Sarah, and me. Thank You Dr Ravi for your compassion. Thank You to your assistant, sorry I dont remember your name, but you were awesome! Blessings to everyone at the clinic Ann Preimesberger

When we saved our first stray cat I asked a trusted friend for advice as to where to do for a veterinarian. My cats have been cared for by the Nucci Veterinary Clinic for over 15 years. My cats tell me by the way they respond to any treatment given at Nucci Veterinary that they are happy. You are given a prompt appointment, greeted in a friendly welcoming manner by the front office staff and made to feel comfortable. The technicians are top notch in the manner they calm the animal and prep them for the vet. The vets are all great it really doesnt matter which one is assigned to your animal, however the front office asks when you call if you have a preference. They send reminders regarding necessary shots for those of us that are not the best record keepers. I drive in from New Baltimore and will continue to make that drive because of the excellent care my cats have received at Nuccis. By the way I have seen many happy dogs there too!

Every staff member there is amazing, kind, and caring right down to even small details. They remember you and your pets so you are not just another random customer who brings their pets in. I cannot tell you how many times I would be in with one of my dogs and a vet that treated my other would catch a glimpse of me, stop and ask about them. The vet not only remembered the pets name but what had been wrong and continued checking every time she saw me until he was no longer with us. The vet techs and receptionists are also amazing and will answer questions all day long for you. I came to this vet specifically because I had encounters with one of the vets as she was filling in for our vets at that time when they would go on vacation or whatnot. When our vet sold their practice I knew I wanted to find the vet who had helped them. I looked for her and found here here and have not had a single regret!

Dr. Nucci and his staff have been taking care of our golden retriever, Dillon, for the past 10 years. Before Dillon, there was Lucy, Gus, and Charlie...three cats that were all part of the family. In more than 25 years using Nucci Veterinary Clinic we have always been very happy for the care given to our pets. Even when we had to make tough decisions, they have been there beside us to help along the way. We could have changed vets when we moved, however, given the relationship and trust established, we have chosen to drive 30 minutes and pass by a number of vets. Well worth it in our opinion. We have found that Dr. Nucci and his staff explain their findings completely, answers all questions, and make appropriate referrals. They have always been prompt in reporting lab results and outlining what they feel is the best plan of care and provide an excellent service for my pet family.

I should have listened to the other reviews. But I took all my pets to that clinic when my children were small. So I took a chance. My cat is malnourished and dehydrated. They didnt know why - to find out I was required to pay nearly $500 for him to be sedated for tests and blood work. They actually sent me away because I did not have all that money. They refused to take payments. Thank God medical doctors dont do that or I would be dead. Its very disheartening when the money means more than they animals they are there to "help". I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. It has gone downhill!! BTW does Nucci even own it or practice anymore? He was much loved for his devotion to ANIMALS not the bottom line.

Last summer, my sweet little Pancake, a Bichon Frise, became very ill. He was 14.5 years old and had been very ill for a short time. On Saturday September 6, 2014 he became extremely ill, and I knew it was time. I didnt want him to keep suffering as he was. I brought him to the clinic, which was such a heartbreaking thing for me to do. Dr. Murphy and the Vet Tech were so kind and compassionate to me and to my little Pancake. They treated him with respect, and acknowledged they knew my heart was shattered. Ill never forget their kindness during that awful day. I still miss my Pancake, and hope to get another Bichon soon.
