I took my dog here (who had an abscess), and they determined he was fit for the removal of his molar (rather than a root canal) right away. I realized he was in pain beforehand, but after the surgery he seemed to be in much worse pain, and in a much worse condition than before. Hes lost enough weight (in his 4 days there) to see his bones. They sent him with us with lots of medications, and the doctor explained it as hastily as you would if you had an uninvited relative at the door. An employee there called us a few times to update us on Smoky, and he sounded very unprofessional and rushed, barely allowing me time to speak. Apart from all that, my dog was not only in worse condition during (and after his stay there), but also in worse hygiene. They sent him home with poop dried onto his tail and smelling like pee. It seems like no one there bothered to keep him clean. His leg (where the IV was) was heavily swollen and bleeding. Ive worked in an animal hospital, and never have I seen a dogs leg swell up after inserting or extracting an IV. Besides charging us an arm and leg, they werent sure if he would require further testing due to the presence of a small ball near his neck, so they suggested a $1000 CT scan. The doctor stated two options as if they were absolute. Get the CT scan to see if he has a tumor, or put him to sleep. He said this with the grace of a cow, as if years of working with animals has desensitized him (and I wouldnt doubt it, its a business firsthand, is it not?). Hes been home for a couple days and that ball has already subsided. Never, ever will I take another one of my dogs here, or recommend this place to anyone.

We needed an emergency vet when our cat suddenly became ill and wanted someone close so we could check in on him any time. I had to make quick work reviewing our options and, based on their 4.9 google rating from 89 reviews (a rating I thought was impossible and maybe untrue), chose Dr. Val and Eco Deco. It was the BEST decision I could have made and heres why - 1. Called the office 45 min before they opened and a professional answered the phone 2. The person recognized the severity of the issue and told me to come in immediately and I would be seen 3. Was seen by the Vet within 10 minutes of arrival 4. Received a thorough history and exam including blood work with results within 1 hour 5. Within 1 hour had accurate diagnosis of infection 6. Began with a conservative treatment of medication and fluids and ok to go home 7. Before I left was given a tentative appointment for the next day in case my cat needed it As it turned out my cat perked up some but still would not eat so he had to be admitted the next day. When I arrived I was given an itemized statement for the cost. I really appreciated knowing the treatment plan and fees up front and every step along the way. The entire staff advised and included us in the decision making process for what was best for our cat. It was a pet owners worst nightmare handled by the best staff possible for an excellent outcome. Our cat was perfect and back to normal in 2 days. Now I want to meet the one person who rated Eco Deco a 4 - they must be impossible to please.

Eco Deco is in a very welcoming location, there is easy parking and Street acsess. The staff is super nice, knowledgeable, and passionate. They genuinely demonstrate their concern my cats well being. Also, they made sure I knew what they were going to do to heal my cat before hand, and all the test they performed made sense and didnt feel inesesary or exsesive. In addition, I have a difficult cat to treat and you can say she has an "aggressive" behaviour at the veterinarian. This did not detered the doctor or technician to treat my cat immediately. Usually I have dealt with inexperience or scared of cats veterinarian technicians that have made my pets veterinarian experience very traumatic. I love this place and will definitely keep bringing Pixie to them!

Dr. Val & Team are excellent! Best Vet in Miami-Dade County by far! And Ive been to more than enough Vets to confidently say that!! Dr. Val not only genuinely cares for the health of your pet, but he also trains the owners how to be the best pet-parent. Bronson, Veronica and plenty more of the staff-members make you feel like a part of the Eco Deco family, no matter how little or big the issue is. Wonderful Vet. Also, its comforting to know this is also a Hospital & Dr. Val can x-ray your pet onsite, surgery and much much more. Prices are not outrageous either.

This vet clinic is amazing. When I adopted my dog he started having a lot of problems in the first week when I took him here they determined that he had distemper and acted immediately. Though he was very deep into the disease and had very little chance of making it they treated him thoroughly and hooked him up to an IV for 2 days and he has completely recovered. The staff here is excellent and very kind . The facility is also very clean . He has never acted up having to go back and is always in good shape after I pick him up .

We brought our bunny (difficult to find right proffesional) here for his first check up and then sterilization. The staff is extremely helpful and the veterinarian is very professional. You can see that the staff loves what they do. My bunnys surgery went amazingly well and his recovery was very quick. They also trimmed his nails while he was there. As far as the pricing goes they tell you in advance and there is no hidden fees. Thumbs up for them! Thank you for making my bunny happy!

There are no words to describe Eco Deco Pet Hospital... I have a 15 year old mix Chihuahua/Weenie dog, that has always hated to go to the vet, but Paco (my dog) loves to go there and the last time he was there he didnt really care if he went home or stayed. Dr. Valeriy and the staff, are the best > their concern is not the $$$ its the well fair od your pet!!! Paco has Cushings Desease, but Dr. Val has him acting like a puppy again. Just cant say enough, about how much I LOVE THEM!!!

Im taking the time to write this review beacuz i really want to thank Dr Alex and his assistent Jorge for treating my doggie Cosmo today with so much kindness and knowledge , both of them were very sweet and careful with Cosmos leg when we came today at the clinic after a puppy play date gone a little wrong . Luckly it wasnt a fracture or anything really serious . Cosmo is already walking without limping . :) We thank you so much again , it was great to meet you .

I am a South Beach local who has been searching for a great vet for my dog for a few years now. Its near impossible to find a vet here that is afordable, yet gives an excellent quality of service. After giving them a try, I can say that this hospital definitely gives that! Dr. Val and his staff are kind, and really care about your experience there. Id highly recommend anyone to give them a try. Theyll take great care of your furry friends!
