I absolutely hate this place. I began going to Clear Lake OBGYN around 2011. I was referred to Dr. Anitra Johnson by cousin. During the first year, I referred 2 more patients to Anitra Johnson. Last year I was placed on birth control for the first time and I began having small symptoms. I could never get a reasonable appointment with Dr. Johnson. Even before I had to schedule my appointments 3 to 4 weeks in advance and sometimes longer than that! I had to go to a different OBGYN because my symptoms appeared to be getting worse. I had three appointments with a different OBGYN during the month of January and February and Anitra Johnson did not have a opening for me. I also found out that the birth control that was prescribed to me was $150 a month without a coupon which brought it down to $30 which was not told to me before. Last month I started a new job and I am out of insurance until my grace period ends. I tried to obtain trial packs of my birth control from Clear Lake OBGYN until my insurance picks back up, but I was told by Nicole from Clear Lake OBGYN that they did not carry trial packs; however, I was given trial packs before. My former insurance agent from Blue Cross Blue Shield also tried contacting Clear Lake OBGYN to help solve my issue but still nothing. Two days ago I contacted Clear Lake OBGYN for the 4th time and they told me to contact Wal Mart to obtain a generic list for my particular birth control. I contacted Wal Mart and they informed me that my brand does not have a generic brand. I called Clear Lake OBGYN again and they told me to ask for a complete list of all the generics. I got frustrated because I felt like this was not my job. I contacted Wal Mart again and they told me that my doctor is suppose to call the pharmacist to ask for the list and my doctor evaluates which medication will be close the medication that I am currently prescribed. I still have not been contacted from Clear Lake OBGYN. My husband and I are planning to have a baby in the future and I will NOT use Clear Lake OBGYNs services. I am in the process now of trying to find a new OBGYN. I hate that P.A. Danette Brown is housed at this location. She is awesome, but I will never go back!

I used Dr. Johnson and love her she was always very nice and very very good bed side manor. My husband was even comfortable with her. Her nurse is always very nice and remembers me. After I had my son if I had any questions or concerns I would call and get a call right back. There was a couple of times I had to go to the ER over the weekend for different reasons and Dr. Johnson was always there to help. I have not been happier with a doctor I call her about everything. She is very personable and very down to earth makes u feel at home when you go see her. When things got complicated with my delivery she was AWESOME. Was not rushing me into decisions or being rude about it she sat by my head and talked to me about everything that was going on and during surgery things got even more complicated and she talked me through every step and The anesthesiologist was amazing was in my room several times before and after and the next days after. And not to mention the hospital staff were amazing did everything in the room had everything set up for dads and familys. I can not praise this doctor enough or her personal staff and the hospital.

I went to Dr. Nisbet through my first pregnancy. She was an alright doctor. Not the most friendly. There were times I had to practically chase after her to ask her my questions as she tried to fly out the door right after approx. 30 seconds in the room. Her office in general is a whole other story. Youd think they were running a circus. Every time I call I get the run around and no one seems to know what they are doing. They arent even successful at properly scheduling appointments. I told them a specific day and verified that was the day they had me down for. I showed up at my scheduled time only to find they had me down for the next week. My sister in law goes here too and went for an appointment due to severe abdominal pain. They put her with the PA and they somehow missed that she had an ectopic pregnancy and sent her home only to later go to the ER and have emergency surgery. Needless to say, Im switching doctors!

Extremely poor customer service. The doctors office does not put the patient first. They are very unorganized, there is no follow through. You must follow up with them to ensure they do their job and quite frankly, I dont have time for that. You would think something as important as Gynecology would have better trained staff to handle insurance approvals, making sure you have what you need for appointments. This is the most ridiculous office I have ever worked with and I have worked in the medical field over twenty years. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I am beginning to wonder if this is why all the doctors left because the practice was run so poorly. Take pride in your private practice and hire a staff that knows what they are doing so they dont run off your patients.

Let me just start by saying I LOVEEEEEE DR. FILES!!! Shes been my obgyn for 5 years now and i wouldnt trade her for the world! Shes monitored both my pregnancies which were pretty complicating at first but her knowledge and sense of care comes 2nd to none. She always shown concern and has a listening ear. Shes always booked up so its best to always schedule appts and keep them. Dr. Danette is such a sweetheart! So gentle and comfortable to be around. Ive seen her twice and wouldnt mind seeing her again. Shes informative and gentle which is hard to find so i hope shes around for a while. Ive recommended them plenty to family and friends. The staff is ok not the best but not the worst. I would like them to be a bit more friendlier but they do their jobs so thats all i could ask.

Ive been a patient of Dr Nisbets for about six years, and Ive always been pleased with her and her staff. Only once did I have an appointment and she wasnt available (because of an emergency with another patient). That time, I was seen by a physicians assistant (Elizabeth Baird) and had a good visit (all my concerns addressed, etc). I highly recommend this practice and the whole staff!

My wife was going here... their office is unorganized and is the main reason we are not going back. The people that work at their office are rude and do not care that their patients are high risk pregnancy. My wife call to reschedule an appointment the lady did not reschedule the appointment now they want to drop her has a patient because their office people are unorganized.

The providers are good but the front office is terrible. The employees at the checkout desk are rude and have horrible attitudes. I called to get the results of my ultrasound, they did not have the results and told me to call the imaging center to have them fax it over. Since when does a patient have to track down their own testing report? I will never go there again!!!
