Ive had a horrible experience with this doctor. Went for my first visit on time and waited 3 hours before I even got called to the back only to be schedule to see Dr.Riveros ass Shawn she wasnt as helpful and seemed in a rush my second visit I got to meet with Dr. Rivero I have had 1 natural birth and 2 via c section I am now expecting baby #4 at age 26. She came into my room and was extremely rude we heard the babys heartbeat within a minute of her being in the room she wasnt interested to knowing me or my husband and our two daughters that tagged along I simply asked her about a VBAC (vaginal birth after cecarian) and she got offended by it she started of rolling her eyes suggesting how dangerous she was how she doesnt practice that in her office and that neither of the other obgyn in her office and that if I want to look for another ob to please be her guest. I felt humiliated I felt so disrespected she then went on to say if we had any other questions I said no then ahe said ok and walked out the room my husband then went on to say whats that ladies problem why did she talk to us like that I then told him maybe because I have Medicaid and Im not self pay he was pretty pissed off I am now looking for another ob even if they dont practice VBAC she really made me feel worthless by the way I have CHC as my insurance provider its crazy how self pay or paid insurance people get to go ahead of you just because they think of you as low class. Maybe that wasnt the case here I mean who knows I really went to her because she is 5 star and people talk so good and highly of her but from my middle class Medicaid having she wasnt as great as people put her out to be. Hopefully none of you ladies witness or feel the same way I did.

I am so thankful I became a patient of Dr. Rivero 5 years ago at the start of my first pregnancy. Before Dr. Rivero, I could not find a gynecologist with good bedside manners who is knowledgeable, thorough and personable. While pregnant with my son, my water ruptured at 33 weeks so I had to be on hospital bed rest and closely monitored. Dr. Rivero came by every single day to check on me and kept my spirits high. I delivered naturally at 35 weeks and 5 days. With the guidance of Dr. Rivero, I was able to have my son completely natural and free of drugs as I had anticipated from the start of my pregnancy. In 2014, I became pregnant with my second and Dr. Rivero had me on weekly progesterone shots (a nurse would come to my home) to keep my water from rupturing prematurely again. Once again, Dr. Rivero helped me deliver my second born the way I anticipated, free of drugs. I felt completely comfortable with Shawn Tippitt, the nurse practitioner, every time I had visits scheduled with her. She also has good bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. I have since relocated to the Woodlands area but have no interest in switching doctors. I will still be coming to Dr. Rivero and Shawn for my gynecology and obstetrics needs.

From the first phone call to the last visit every staff member was helpful, polite, and caring. I switched to this practice due to an issue I had from a c-section last year, which my previous doctor was unwilling to help with. I called for an appointment and got in quickly to see Shawn, within a week. She was caring, kind, and took the time to listen so that we could determine a plan to fix my problem. I then had some tests at another appointment and they fit me in with Dr Korman the same day. He took the time to speak with me, extensively, about my issue. He cared, he was knowledgeable, and he developed a plan of action to address my pain. I was so impressed with the quality of care from everyone I was in contact with. All the staff members are so polite and helpful. They really went out of their way to help me. I am extremely grateful. I didnt wait long at any of my visits, which is often an issue with Ob/Gyns. I never felt rushed, I felt listened to. I cant say enough good things. I only wish I had found this doctor and the practice earlier.

Dr. Korman is amazing. Currently driving from the Woodlands to clear lake to see him because he was referred by someone who loved him. This is my first pregnancy and he has done such a great job providing me with information and answering all my questions I have had. Hes personable and always has a positive attitude and a smile. The office staff is very diligent in their work and Ive yet to had an appointment error. I honestly feel like Im the only one who has an appointment every time I go. Shawn Tippit (nurse practitioner) is the best as well (I wish she could be in the delivery room). Jennifer (sonogram tech) is so easy to talk to and has such a joyous spirit. I look forward to my appointments and I am 100% confident that Dr. Korman will do fabulous at delivering my son sooner than later. Would recommend him to anyone.

They are the best staff , nurses and Dr. Korman is a great Doctor! I have been seeing them for almost 16 years so they are like family . They are the best . My nurses Jane, Angela always make me feel good even when I have serious stuff going on . P.A Shawn love her . She makes you understand everything and not in Doctor talk ... Ultrasound tech Jennifer is great and takes her time .... Lindsay Always makes sure I have my next appointment and appointment card before I leave the office . And well Dr . Korman he makes you feel like he really cares for his patients (which he does). When I was 16 and I first went to him . He made me feel at ease. Now 16 years later he has been a great Doctor even though all my loss and heartache.... I would trust him with my life .

Dr. Anitra Johnson is my ob. I love her and her staff. From the first visit, I felt like wed known each other forever and they are always very attentive to my personal needs. Dr. Johnson recently performed my hysterectomy and just like her bedside manner in the office, she made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had at the hospital. She was recommended to me by a friend who also had a hysterectomy performed by her recently and our recovery periods have been very easy....no complications during surgery, no unexpected issues afterwards; the whole process went very smoothly from the pre-op to recovery. I will recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone who wants an upbeat, friendly, and "keep it real" kind of ob/gyn & staff.

Dr. Korman and his staff are just wonderful! Dr Korman has delivered both of my children (ages 4 and 5,) and I cant imagine there being a more caring doctor or more thorough care. I always appreciate the time Dr. Korman takes during my visits to address my issues and concerns and to review and explain various options. Dr. Rivero has also seen me during an emergency visit and assisted in both of my c-sections, and she too is wonderful. The treatment provided by Bay Area Advanced OB/GYN by Dr. Korman, Dr Rivero, NP Shawn Tippitt, and the nursing staff is outstanding and I wouldnt consider going anywhere else.
