Dr. Joi Sutton (and her staff) went above and beyond regular veterinary care when doing surgery on my 10 year old female Doberman. My dog needed eye surgery, (a large mass on her eye lid) as well as dental work. Being in remission with Myasthenia Gravis (an auto-immune disorder that presents as Mega Esophagus in dogs) and having a blood clotting disorder, we had some obstacles to navigate around. After appointments with many different vets I felt lucky to get a highly caring and competent team to do the two surgeries under one anesthesia. Initially I made an appointment with Dr. Carmen Coltiz, an eye specialist. I knew she was exactly the vet I wanted to have perform eye surgery on my dog. I now needed a vet that I felt comfortable with doing the dental portion. After giving me several good recommendations I went to see Dr. Sutton. I was impressed with both of their knowledge, professionalism and love for the animals. My dog felt comfortable with both. I felt lucky that they would work together to make these surgeries possible. Joi (unlike many others) took all the health issues very seriously. After talking with Joi at length during a regular health exam, she showed me her facility and addressed all my questions. And I had many!! Dr. Sutton listened closely and had answers that made sense to me. If she didnt know about some detail in particular she would gladly admit it and come back with the information in print. She truly cares and has a very positive attitude. I so much appreciated her precise approach to the timing of the surgery. Joi assured me that they would be keeping her under general anesthesia for as short a time as possible; have a team who all understand the importance of efficiency when under general anesthesia; be monitoring her vitals closely throughout. She did diligent research of what drugs were safe to use with her specific conditions. I cant list all the things and preparations she did to get ready for this surgery but I felt we were in the right hands. Both vets and staff were truly looking out for my girl! Dr. Sutton even kindly asked one of her canine patients to stand in during surgery being a "universal canine blood donor" (thank you owner!!)...as well as having frozen plasma on hand.... just in case!!! Jois office has a very friendly family atmosphere. I stayed there throughout the surgery and was kept updated frequently on how everything was going. Coincidentally I ran into several friends that I had no idea were also patients there! The surgeries went well. My dog was closely monitored and cared for. The blood clotting medicine that was given seemed to work well. She had a little more bleeding than the regular dog but it was under control. My girl is fully back to her active, happy self. A full recovery. As strong as can be. Her gums healed up quickly as well as her eye beautifully! Thank You Joi, Carmen and all involved!!!

I cant say enough about Joi and the staff at Tequesta Veterinary Clinic. Our jack Russell must have gotten into something and was really sick. The following morning we took him into to the clinic and they asked all the right questions and performed the tests needed. We were happy to find out with some medication he was going to be just fine. Now this might sound like a normal story of a dog visiting a clinic. But the reason Im writing this review is because the experience with Joi and her staff is like none other they are the friendliest and most kind hearted team I have ever taken a animal too. They truly care not just about your pet but also understand the stress the owner is going through as well. I cant say enough about them and their prices are great. Justin Eschmann

Dr. Joi Sutton and her team are the friendliest and most compassionate people! They truly care about my pets and continually follow up if one of them is sick or injured. Not only do I take my pets there for medical care, I buy all my pet food there as well. She knows about the nutritional needs for my dog who has the beginning stages of Cushings disease and my cat who has irritable bowel syndrome. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Joi. She has been such a blessing and I am so grateful for her knowledge and TLC. I am so lucky that she is located so close to my home, although I would gladly travel across the state to see her. I have found my FURRever vet!

Dr Joi & her entire staff are so knowledgable and so much fun! I have just moved to town from Southern California and my 3 year old Weimaraner had been in treatment for a chronic bladder infection and bladder stones for months. From the first phone call to her office I learned so much more about the condition and proper treatment than I had in the previous months with my old veterinarian. After proper management, Gracie was clear after just 3 weeks! AND she micro-chipped Gracie for free, on our first visit - unbelievable! Dr. Joi is so well-educated and obviously has a huge heart for each animal. I would recommend her to any & all of my friends with dogs :-)

Dr Joi and the staff at Tequesta veterinary clinic are amazing. I had 3 rescue cats and needed a new vet for them. Dr Joi was everything I could have hoped for. She cared for all three of them as if they were hers. And at the end of their lives she was there for them and me as well. A few months after they passed I adopted a rescue dog. Dr Joi again has been there for us. Because of her kindness he is the first animal I have ever had that is truly excited to go to the vet. Dr Joi and her staff always go that extra mile. As a lifelong resident of Palm Beach County I would never take an animal anywhere else.

Dr. Joi has been treating my senior golden whos pushing 14 years old and has severe arthritis due to multiple knee surgeries in her hips and knees...Dr. Joi has been treating Goldie and suggested the laser therapy on Goldie, due to a bad experience with hot laser therapy i was very apprehensive and really didnt want to put Goldie through what she experienced prior, so with Goldies in mind and Dr. Jois faith in her technology I decided to give it a try and to my surprise Im actually noticing a positive difference in Goldies mobility and mood. Dr. Joi and her staff are the best and i wish she could be my doctor.

Dr. Joi Sutton is absolutely the best veterinarian I have come across in my life. She did dental work on my 17 year old border aussie and gave him new life. I was prepared to put my dear dog down until I decided to try a new vet and good thing I did. Her prices are very reasonable and she clarified to me that we needed to treat the symptom and not his age. She cleaned his teeth for a fair price and he is no longer ill My dog is happy and healthy and continues to bring me joy on a daily basis. If you are looking for a vet you will not be disappointed as she is brilliant.

Dr. Jois name says it all. Shes a joy to be around and an amazing vet. She has been treating our 10 year old diabetic lab for some time now and he is doing exceptionally well. He feels so good, hes like the puppy he used to be. Additionally, he loves Dr. Joi! She has held our hand through the process of learning to deal with a diabetic pet and I dont know what we would do without her. Her new clinic is fantastic and her staff is very helpful. Keep up the good work, Dr. Joi!
