I needed to take my dog in to have his ears checked and neither of my two "regular" vet clinics were available to see me, so I checked Yelp for a local vet with great reviews and stumbled across this place. I am SO GLAD i found this place! Apparently they have an office in Rockwall and one in Rowlett. They didnt have any openings at their Rockwall location (which wouldve been much closer), but said they could take me at their Rowlett location and booked an appt. for me. At first I wasnt too jazzed about having to make the trip to Rowlett but since I had another errand to run in the area, I ventured out. First impression - the place is NICE from the outside - very clean, plentiful parking up front (then again, this was at 2:00 in the afternoon during the week). I walk in and the lobby was spacious and beautiful (with wood flooring - I think). The receptionist was busy on a call when I walked in but once she was off the phone she greeted me pleasantly and asked if I wanted something to drink. What a nice touch!! Within a minute of turning in my paperwork, I was called to back by an assistant who was very pleasant and very gentle with my little guy. I liked her demeanor. The exam room and even the lobby area was pristine! No animal smells whatsoever! But more importantly is how the doctor interacted with my dog. Doctor Taylor came in and introduced herself and asked me lots of questions and based on the records they got from my other vet office and her questions, she prescribed a course of action that I believe is going to be a god send for the allergies and skin problems my little guy has been suffering from. I will go back in two weeks so that they can monitor his progress but overall, I was very, very impressed with Dr. Taylor and all the staff that I interacted with. Dr. Taylor seemed very knowledgeable and I felt we were in capable hands. She took the time to demonstrate what I would need to do to care for my pet and then she wrote everything down for me. Why didnt I find this place sooner? There was only one downside that I will comment on, and that had to do with their pricing on teeth cleaning. When I asked what the price was, I was shocked that it was DOUBLE what another vet clinic had quoted me - granted, the other place has way lower overhead and a no-frills office (with an occasional cockroach in the lobby!). I will stick to the low-rent clinic for basic shots and teeth cleaning and come to this place to treat the serious stuff. I love this place. If you want the best care for your babies, I would recommend this practice. They are warm, friendly, and know their stuff.

I cannot even begin to describe the amount of praise i have for this animal hospital. I have lived in 10 different cities over the last 7 years and therefore have had many veterinarians. Stonebridge Veterinary Hospital is by far my favorite and the best. Even when I lived an hour away, the drive was worth it to have them cared for by this vet. I have 4 very large dogs that are very active. Ill start with the medical practice first. Anytime I need to make an appointment for one of my dogs, I was ALWAYS able to get in on the date I wanted. Even if they dont have an appointment open, they were able to squeeze in my sick dog. All of the doctors are very smart and highly professional. However, Dr. Avery is my favorite of all-time. Anytime one of my dogs has something wrong, even before running tests, he immediately knows what is wrong and his thought turned out to be 100% right. He never gives unneeded care or tries to get me to order more tests than needed just to make some more money. Not only that, but he actually remembers each of my dogs each time (things about them that isnt in their medical chart). With so many dogs, that is very impressive. The prices are very reasonable and he informs me of costs before proceeding. Dr. Avery even made himself available after hours to provide medical advice for my dog when he was not working. The receptionists and techs are extremely friendly and upbeat. They are always so pleasant when i call to make an appointment, boarding reservation, or need information emailed to me. Finally, the boarding. People can easily feel comfortable leaving their fur baby in the care of this facility. The prices are reasonable and the pets are cared for and given lots of attention all day. They also text photos of the pets during the stay. My dogs all love being boarded there. Thank you to all staff at Stonebridge in Rockwall for making our 4 dogs very happy and taking great care of them. Regardless of where my husband and I live in the DFW area, we will keep having them cared for at Stonebridge in Rockwall.

With a heavy heart I feel that it is my duty to tell everyone what this so called "caring" vet and center did to my pet and my family. On Saturday we had made an appointment to put our family pet of 16 years to sleep. Our dog has cancer, pneumonia and suffering with pain that increases day by day. We chose this facility because it was open on Saturday afternoon so that my husband, children and myself could all be together to say goodbye. We are very well aware of the process that would happen and had prepared the ourselves and the children for this was not an easy choice by any means. This location was not easy to find, our GPS sent us down several back roads to finally find the location. When we arrived on Saturday, we were 12 minutes late. The receptionist said she would have to go in the back to ask the provider if they could still see us. As upsetting as this was to my children it was still understandable, I myself work for a doctor and understand it is up to the provider to make the call, but most providers always make arrangements for the well being of the patient. This staff unfortunately did not. The receptionist returned after a considerable amount of time to openly tell my family in front of my 9 year old, that they were not willing to stay and would need to book us at another location the next day. If you have ever had to prepare yourself and your children to say goodbye to a beloved family pet then you would understand the trauma this clinic has caused our family, this was a major life event that will forever change my family. This clinic does not care for the welfare of animals or their family members, I would never recommend or trust my pet to this clinic. If the staff and veterinarians are not even willing to spend an extra 10 minutes for a major life event then think what corners they are willing cut in everyday simple pet care. I would not wish what my family just experienced on my worst enemy.
