DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! I recently went to this office, was told I needed a very expensive scaling and root planing, which I was also told would be covered except for a copay, by my insurance. I paid my copay, which was over $200.00. I then received a bill from my insurance company for the full amount. When I called Redwood back, I was told "oh dont worry, you should be covered and some times they just need extra information". I then received a bill from Redwood for the entire amount. When I called again, I was told "were so sorry, we entered the wrong insurance number for you. You actually arent covered. Were sorry. You owe us the full amount." THEY MADE THE MISTAKE. My insurance company also said they based their pretreatment estimate without even bothering to contact my insurance. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. While the service they provided was very good (from the dentist and hygienist standpoint, who were all very nice) and the front office staff were very nice initially, the office manager was completely unhelpful and unwilling to acknowledge that THEIR MISTAKE was somehow supposed to translate into my paying almost $1000 for this service, which I never would have scheduled if I had known the true cost. I will be cancelling all future appointments and am filing a grievance.

I had a root canal done at Redwood Dental. Everyone was friendly and took the time to explain the procedure, the pros and cons, etc. No one ever took that much time to explain what was going on at any other dental office.
