AWESOME! Came in to get my back molar tooth check out because it broke in half (had issues with it in the past was told i would probably need a root canal) , they did an x-ray and said that I did need root canal and they started it that day! Usually you would have to come back. The dentist was outstanding from beginning to end. He numb my mouth and after that pretty much didnt feel anything was expecting much more pain. You could tell he took pride in what he did and it put me at ease. The staff and manager there were very friendly and attentive. The manager (Alicia) helped explain the process and ways I could pay for it. I will be back on Saturday (which the dentist is staying later so I dont have to miss any more work) What dentist would do that? THEY ARE NOW THE ONLY DENTIST I WILL GO TO! GREAT WORK!

The Shelby Township location is NOT organize. I had an appointment, called and cancelled several days prior to the set appointment, for some reason it was never documented and they insist on charging me the appointment fee. I have called 2 times , spoke to the office personnel and the office manager. The office manager told me she doesnt see the documented phone call from me and Im responsible for the appointment fee. I told her I would not be paying for it since I did indeed call, but she continues to send me a bill. Now its been turned over to a collection agency. I would not recommend this location for anyone. The staff is not warm and fuzzy . And they charge you for services never rendered.

I switched to this location because its much closer to my house and Im so glad that I did. Everyone is wonderful here. The staff, Katie, Jocelin, Annie, Debby, and Jackie are all so friendly and helpful. There is never a wait. The office and rooms are clean which is extremely important to me. Dr. Bruzek was always very thorough and nice. I see Dr. Stec mostly due to having braces. He is so nice and thorough with my braces care. I am so pleased with my experiences here!! Thank you to everyone who makes my dental visits as pleasant as they can be when going to the dentist. Highly recommend.

After 40 years of great service once they became a corporation they had Chronic billing problems and didnt seem to care. Charging me twice for service and over charging. I would never have left still had my favorite dentist and workers but couldnt continue with late notices to me only for them to take care of the problem which was theres I had always already paid yet they were charging me again or over charging. They would argue with me only after going to supervisor many calls each time to find out out they were wrong.

Absolutely fantastic place. I feel lucky to have found it. Genuinely careing, friendly and all around cool staff. Makes going to the dreaded dentist a million times better. Ive been putting off dental work for years because in my experiences, dentists and their practices have sucked. But going here once, has uplifted, motivated and made me feel ready to get this all done. Keep up the good work Gentle Dental in Shelby twp MI :) and keep being your great selves. The staff at Gentle Dental in Shelby Twp have been my dental professionals for over 20 years. The facility is extremely clean, the dentists are knowledgeable and friendly, Debi the dental hygienist is thorough and efficient, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. If youre looking for a new dental office, check them out. Dr. Steffens is a young female dentist that is sure to make young children feel very comfortable.

This office needs help.. I had dentures made here and when I received them they looked like something u would find in a gag store and they wanted to do nothing about it but get me outta there office.. Dr torres is awesome but the staff is horrible and Katie the so called manager is so unprofessional its not even funny.. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this office to anyone...

My family and I have been patients at Shelby Gentle Dental for over 5 years. Hygienist Debbie takes excellent care of my teeth. The dentist performs exams and has treated a cavity and installed a cap for a root canal. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Shelby Gentle Dental.
