My wife first took me to see Doctor Koehler when I began having trouble sleeping due to neck pain. Koehler took some Xrays and did a careful examination of my spine, which revealed that a shoulder injury had caused damage to my neck muscles and joints, causing them to lock up over time. The first ajdustment hurt a little as joints that were overly stiff moved for the first time in a long time, but almost instantly the pain and tension headache that had been keeping me from sleeping went away. Doctor Koehler has helped relieve an enormous amount of the pain and discomfort, both from that shoulder injury as well as every day work pains and the occasional back injuiry. He knows what he is doing, is very skilled at his job, and I know I can trust him with any such issues that arise.

I was seeing them for adjustments for several months (this was a few years ago), and had a terrible overall experience. First of all, they were offering discounts to patients who wrote reviews, so thats why the reviews are so positive. They insisted that I come in for adjustments 3x a week, which is pretty excessive (not to mention expensive). They frequently did x-rays and other tests which seemed really unnecessary (especially the frequency of the tests). I had several billing disputes and was inaccurately billed as was my insurance multiple time. I also found it really uncomfortable and unprofessional that they kept trying to convince me to buy their shady diet shakes. They seem like they are all about making as much money as they can, rather than actually helping people.

As mentioned in an earlier review (see Barbara), the charges made are inconsistent with what they present. The ancillary staff is largely unhelpful in these matters, unambitious in others outside of the basics, and therefore incompetent overall. The chiropractic is fine (comparable to others), however compared other chiropractors they are not equipped with pre-adjustment exercise rooms and instead subscribe to the less proactive electrical stimulation. The other chiropractors I have been to unanimously insist that adjustments are not worth doing without these exercises (although n=3). There are better options out there, especially considering the unscrupulous nature of the proprietor as witnessed by his staffs interaction with the clientele.

I was skeptical going in for my first visit, since I only had an annoying tingling in my fingers. My health care clinic and hand therapist were unable to relieve the sensation. However, chiropractic did the trick, and I have been very happy with the results. I continue with maintenance visits. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Dr. Kohler is a top-notch chiropractor. I suffered from severe headaches. Dr Koehler setup a treatment plan specifically for my needs and did wonders. I enjoy going here! I never really thought about going to the Chiropractor before. I didnt realize how bad my back was until they showed me. My first day there, they were honest and very friendly and have been ever since. I feel so much better after going there and still enjoy my regular check ups. =)

If your looking for an engaged Ideal Protein service, this is not your place. Sure you can the buy the food, but appointments booked will not be honored - just blown off as if they were never made. Cheaper to buy IP food on eBay. Or better yet, find a clinic that does provide IP support.
