I have been going to this dental office for over 10+ years and have always had a positive experience. Being someone with an extensive dental history that has needed a lot of work done due to my own negligence in the past (fillings, cavities, root canals), I can always count on the knowledgeable, friendly, and professional staff here. There have been times when I needed to see the dentist immediately, and when I call they can always fit me into their schedule right away. Dr. Nam explains any dental issues thoroughly and I really appreciate the time he takes to make sure I understand the procedure thats being done and lays out all the options for me to make an informed decision. THANK YOU to Jeannette D. and Leslie H., who have been with the practice for several years and always have a smile on their faces when I come in and are amazing at what they do! Susy at the front desk area is always very sweet, as well as Jennifer, Mona, and Yelenne. I always get a bit anxious visiting the dentist, but the staff here make me feel reassured and confident that Im being taken care of. I see some negative reviews, and yes, dental work is very expensive in general, but thats across the board everywhere you go. Its an older office, so dont expect the latest in high-tech equipment gadgets with fancy TV monitors to view x-rays etc., if that matters to you. What matters to me is the knowledge and quality of work being performed, and Dr. Nam and the dental staff exceeds my expectations in these areas!!!

The Dentist and his assistant was very nice. However, I waited for a long time for the Dental Hygienist and she did not care enough to see me after I already sat waiting for her. I felt that was kind of rude. Had a very difficult time understanding the receptionist at the front desk. I tried calling in the morning before my appointment to ask a question but the receptionists accent was so thick and her English was so bad that I could not understand anything she said! I could understand her a little better in person but still struggled to understand her. I also did not like how she wanted to tell me when my appointment was instead of allow me to tell her when I am available. I almost walked out because of how bossy and rude she was! She was demanding that I come back to see the Dentist the week of July 4th even though I already had vacation plans! She was very argumentative! I did not appreciate her trying to run my life and demand I come back at her convenience instead of mine! I think she was out of line and very rude! She was very disrespectful to me! I also think someone who speaks clearer English should be working the front desk because after all this is America not Cuba or Mexico! In addition to this, I think Coast Dental prices are way too high! I would think that with how much Coast Dental charges that they should have a Receptionist who speaks clear and fluent English and has better manners!

Con el personal ningun problema. Mi hija tiene un cist y hay q hacerle una biopsia. Viajo desde Palm Bay hasta Orlando pq desde las ofc de Melbourne me indicaron que aceptan mi plan medico....aunque del costo total solo el plan cubria $224 y yo tenia que pagar $1520 no hicieron el trabajo. Espere desde las 12 del medio dia hasta las 2:40 para informarme que el proceso de que el plan aceptara los $224 tardaria 24 horas. En pocas palabras la doctora prefirio perder $1520 dolares en el momento por $224 trapos de dolares. Falte a mi trabajo, gas, comida, sunpass y mi hija salio igual que como llego. Le doy una estrella porque no puedo darle 0.

They will tell you more is wrong with your teeth and you need to pay them. Stop! Dont pay them anything if you have insurance. Go somewhere else! Tried to charge us for $1200 of things we dont need. Had insurance. Still tried to charge us, also told us things were needed when they were parts of procedures they had written down in the optional section for optional procedures. After we got home we looked them up. Not only were they not needed. They were bad for you to get. Want to travel back to the 80s? Then this is the office for you. No computers in the room and yellow lights to look in your mouth. Not the usual white lights that are now common place. Dont trust them when they ask for money. Google it before paying them for anything. Chances are you either dont need it or its no where near as bad as they said it was. They will scare you into it by telling you if you dont do it you may need a root canal or worse things could happen. Dont let them scare you into paying a dime. Their prices are the same as other places with new technology.

To be honest all my life Ive had problems with my teeth and Ive always avoid going to the dentist. I had been feeling pain during the past few weeks but like always I would ignore all my pain just to avoid going to the dentist office; till last Friday when I woke up with my face swollen and with lots of pain. I looked up the closest Dentist to my house and found Coast Dental which I called and made an appointment. I went to my appointment scared and unsecured, but I needed this pain to go away, but the truth of the matter is that Dr. Sung Nam and his asistant Jeanette are excellent. They made sure I was comfortable and made it a much better experience. Jeannette even offered me the Care Credit plan which was approved and made it much easier for me to continue with my treatment. I would definitely recommend Coast Dental to any of my friends or relatives. I rate Coast Dental, Dr. Sung Nam and Jeanette with 5 stars. Something is wrong here. I saw the rectangle shaped machine on the table where the X-ray tech showed me to sit. it looked archaic and burned in areas.. when the tech told me to remove my glasses and stand with chin "here" she pointed to chin rest, and i asked her should earrings come off and she said ok, so i removed earring, she pointed to chin rest again and took the X-ray. Then i had a seat and let the nightmare begin. after she did 10 individual xrays, i told her i do not like so many X-rays. she said nothing. i let her take two more, and when she reached for another white slide, i told her i couldnt take anymore. i have never experienced TEN X-rays in one sitting and i took off the lead shield and went to reception area. i was extremely freaked out by the X-rays and told receptionist i just wanted a broken tooth consultation and one or two xrays would have been ok. i left immediately. i am going to investigate protocol and procedure and register many complaints about this facility.

Im so glad I read these reviews prior to coming, it definitely made my choice easy when looking for a dentist office. This is by far the best i have been to. I had a root canal done 8 years ago which always bothered me [come to find out the root canal was not done properly and he missed the nerve] so when i finally decided i had enough and scheduled an appointment they got me in right away. Front desk is so sweet and kind. Mona is an awesome dentist assistant! The ortho and the dentist are in the same building and they are knowledgeable and have such laid back personalities. My procedure was virtual painless. They numbed me up really nice and fixed me up. The temporary crown was absolutely perfect, Ive been able to eat and feel no pain at all. The pain from my first horrible root canal has finally went away. They offer reasonable payment plans, with low interest. Definitely come check them out!
