First, let me say that I am allergic to doctors. And, I dont care how much education or experience he or she has, if somebodys doing something to my body, I like to see whats going on. If I cant see it, I get a bit apprehensive. Now, Im almost sixty-eight years old and Ive been that way for as long as...well...since Ive been going to doctors. Now, I have found a few doctors who are the exception to the rule, and Dr. Ira is one of them. My teeth arent in the best of shape and thats not got anything to do with Dr. Stier. It has everything to do with decades of neglect. Dr. Ira Stier and his staff have treated me for about the past two decades--and when I say "treated", thats exactly how I feel. It is great to finally go to a dentist when I need him the most and not experience any pain or anxiety (and not be admonished for the state into which I have allowed my teeth to degenerate. I only wish that Id known about Arlington Dental and Ira Stier decades ago.

I came in with a tooth pain on my back tooth. Figured out that my gum was infected and they wanted to extract my back tooth. When I stated I did not want it done they told me my insurance covered it. I told them thats nice i still want my original tooth. I asked what other options i could have besides extraction. The last choice was antibiotic for my inflamed gum around the tooth. So she wrote me out a script and told me that I was still need to have my tooth extracted. Needless, to say I never came back! I got a second opinion and had my xrays picked up were asked me to come back for cleanings I asked them for my x-rays to show the next dentist. My advice, Do not use them unless you want an unnecessary tooth extracted because its covered by your insurance. No thanks!!!!

Dr. Ira Stier is an outstanding dentist! I hate to say I loved it only because of the fear & pain associated with dentistry but he is the best dentist Ive ever worked with here in Dutchess County. Id highly recommend him. The only advice Id give to patients is to confirm what your insurance covers to avoid any issues regarding your co-payments.

I used to go to Arlington but I had to move out of state. I miss it. I had my implant done over 8 years ago by Dr Stier and everytime I get an x-ray every dentist or oral surgeon are astounded by the well the work was done. It was the best money Ive every spent at the dentist.

Great service. They are very friendly, punctual with receiving your appointments and getting you in and out without a hassle. I have no complaints.
