I have the same exact review as one of the previous posters... My wife and I interviewed a few doctors while pregnant and Dr Cochran seemed the most patient and we selected to work with him. Dr. Cochran is great with the children, extremely attentive, and doesnt get annoyed when new parents ask silly questions. Fortunately we havent needed him for any more than check-ups - but we have full confidence in his abilities for more difficult cases should we ever need it. All around great doctor. We love Dr Cochran and the crew so much that I almost didnt want to leave the next part of this review - because I want to only support Cochran and not muddy his reputation.. All of his staff has been fine - with the exception of Noreen. Months back I had a poor dealing with her over the phone and she was extremely rude and ultimately just hung up. I looked at the online reviews and saw a previous poster who also shared a similar complaint. I like the office, so I just let it go. Today I called to get a copy of my childs record, she answered, and was rude from the start of the call all the way through the end... And... again, like months ago, hung up on me in the end. Noreen; I suggest you realize that you work with a great group of people, but you are the sour apple of the group. I suggest you change your attitude at work, because after all, you do work for us. Lets not forget that the information you gave me was all wrong, but fortunately, Angie, your office manager in Akron was able to get me exactly the documents I needed. Thanks, Angie! With the exception of Noreen, huge kudos to Dr Cochran and the crew - keep up the great work!

I would have given a 5 star review because they always get us in, they have separate sick/well waiting rooms, the doctors and regular front desk staff are friendly; however, I just had an unsettling experience with Noreen (sp?). Three phone calls today and all three times she seemed annoyed with me. 1st, for calling them for my daughters lab results (that were supposed to be in by Saturday - at the latest. ..today is Tuesday so Id say I was pretty patient). 2nd, when she called back with the results and told me my daughter would need to change antibiotics because of said lab results it seemed to take her aback when I didnt immediately know my pharmacies phone number offhand. 3rd, when I called back because she must have muted the call (the call went silent....when I called back she asked if I muted her because she could hear me, but I couldnt hear her. Ummmm...that would indicate that she hit mute, not I), she was quite bothered that I wanted to know what was actually wrong with my daughter, per the lab results that prompted them to change meds. Rather than just saying she would have someone get back to me when the doctor was available, she tried to just sort of guess. So, I still dont know why her meds are being switched. I was patient and understanding until the very end when she didnt seem to understand why I would want to know the specifics regarding the lab results/med change...at which point I did get short and hung up because clearly she was not at all interested in being understanding or helpful.

We are new to the area and looking for a new pediatrician. I was informed they do not accept Medicaid or any state-issued insurance, which I find to be extremely crappy. She said they only accept insurance through an employer. Well my husband is self employed and my job does not offer health insurance so we have CHIP, which we pay into. I do not think this should be allowed and that they should be ashamed of themselves. The worst was the condescending tone in which I was informed this. So rude!

When I called and asked if they accept the insurance my son and I have, the secretary responded saying, "We are not taking any new patients, we are full as far as we are concerned with that plan." It was discrimination as far as Im concerned, telling me, ya we do, but we have enough people on that plan and dont want anymore.

Everyone has been so caring and kind. The docs spend time with us and make us feel like they came in that day just to see us. The secretaries are amazing at giving direction on what to do if only home remedies are needed. Their advice and direction have never failed us!

They take excellent care of our children. The staff is friendly and very professional. The doctors remember us and the kids. Very happy with them, we have recommended them to a few of our friends and they are also happy. Also, they are open on Saturdays!

We love it here! The staff is friendly and welcoming and the doctors are great. My son doesnt mind going to the doctor which is fantastic!
