PLEASE PLEASE do not go to this vet. Very inexperienced vet and vet assistants. Gave my dog medication that I later found out its meant for horses and not dogs. This review is not intended for humans to read, but it is intended for any owners that cares about their dogs and wants whats best for them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: 3/29/2016 Naturally I went to another vet for "proper" handling and "proper" medical attention for my little boy. So if you are saying how the medical attention my dog received is up to par, then why may I ask he have hookworms after receiving a dosage of strongid for hookworms? May you educate me on that? Or shall you educate me on how your staff members brought a 79 pound dog up on a table, held him down while he is scared and ultimately provoking him to bitting two of your staff members and then dropping my dog to the floor causing bruises on his ribs, cuts on his legs and bruises by his groin area? If you telling me to get educated on dogs and such, where is the love being shown to animals when you clearly are insulting someone (me) who by minimum can read the body language of a dog.

Very disappointed. I have been a patient since they open their practice. I always took my animals here for Dr. Monicas care. I trusted her and treatment that was provided with my dogs. However I have a skin issue with one of my dogs which has never got cured. Trying to understand and still trusting Dr. Monicas treatment and care I still came to her over and over again. Which as is mentioned in other reviews their prices are very high. Dr. Monica knew that I was becoming frustrated with having no cure and all her recommendations of treatment were not working but assured me that we will get to the bottom of this. Im upset with being experimented on and using new medications and paying top dollar for them with no good results. I feel judged and poorly treated here. The response I got after coming here for years and paying their HIGH prices I get Im all out of ideas and that I need to go for a second option. This should have been said a long time ago!!!!!! Thanks for the wonderful service and being experimented on that I paid top dollar for! I will be taking my business else where to vets that are experienced and knowledgeable.

I took my 4 month old puppy to TLC First Animal Hospital to see Dr. Sue, only to have her two large Weimaraners (70-75 lbs) harass and attack my puppy (20 lbs). She kept dismissing it, saying, "they like to put puppies in their place", or "the puppy is scared, so thats why he jumped on him". These two undisciplined bullies of dogs roam the vet clinic free, when they have no business being there. I took my dog there for care, and instead, he gets attacked. This last time, the male dog bit down on my puppy to the point that he was screaming, and she dismissed it again. I let her know that it isnt right to let her dogs attack small puppies, and I wont be going back. Besides all that, she pushes product on you from her vendors (without any real basis for doing so), and she over-vaccinates the dogs. Overall, she is a poor vet who needs to keep her dogs at home while she works.

I absolutely love this place and Doctor Monica. I switched several vet clinics untill I found TLC. I adopted my senior maltipoo from a shelter. I think he was mistreated for most of his life based on his behavior and occasional biting. I had to change several clinics because they did not know how to approach him and every time I took him to see a doctor at other clinics , I saw a huge dislike written all over their faces every time they examined my dog. Switching to TLC clinic was the BEST thing I have done since adopting my little guy. Dr Monica had a great connection and knew how to handle my dog from the get go. Thanl you to TLC and t heir staff for taking such good care of my furry friend , who is by the way fully adopted to his new good life abd longer has behavior or biting issues .

They do not deserve even 1 star. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PLACE! Today the poodle ran out of medicine. I called TLC and ordered a refill. Could not be done over the phone be/c the law has changed. Went in to pick it up personally to deliver to pharmacy. Dr. Lachowvsky wrote the prescription for hydrocodone. Went 2 miles to pharmacy. waited to be waited on.... Handed the prescription. Pharmacist said its THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION. Yes, she wrote the wrong prescription. Had to go back get the right prescription and go back to the pharmacy. The women at the front -- did they apologize NO. Did Dr. Lachowvsky come out and say something - no she hid. THIS PLACE IS FILLED WITH COMPLETE GROSS NEGLIGENT vets and staff. STAY AWAY - FAR AWAY.

Dr. Sue was my 2nd opinion after spending 3 months and $$ on tests to get the root of my dogs bloody stool. She IMMEDIATELY (without more costly tests) stated he had colitis and "prescribed" olive oil on his food! It took about a week of this and no blood since. I have 4 dogs & 2 cats and have been in many times since they are all seniors. ALWAYS great service from the front desk to the vet techs to Dr. Sue. A minor emergency was met with an immediate response from Dr. Sue AND Dr. Monica and, again, a simple solution fixed the issue. My cat has had allergies all of his life with no resolution. She prescribed a steroid and he has been amazing since! A bit pricey BUT you get what you pay for and the extra cost is worth my pets health.

Ive owned cats since I was very young, and I always though that I understood my pet and was a good owner. Ive dealt with kidney issues, liver issues, and even infused my previous old pet with saline for hydration. However, since moving to TLC Dr. Monica has taught me something new about cats and my pet every visit. For the first time, I bought a home and was anticipating a terrible time with my nervous cat. Dr. Monica was incredibly reassuring, educated me on a pheromone product that she knew would help and where to buy it at a decent price. I could not be more pleased with such a genuine caring staff, affordable care, and would drive the extra distance to know my cat is getting extra attention.

I started going to TLC First Animal Hospital as soon as they opened because I had been taking my pets to Dr. Liszewski for years. Her new clinic is very nice, it is large and has all the newest technology and equipment. Dr. Liszewski has treated my cats, dogs, ferrets, rabbit, rats and hamster. She is a great vet so I had followed her from her previous location. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. She goes above and beyond to make sure that we get the best care possible. I really like that she does holistic type treatment as well as "conventional" treatment. The staff at TLC First are very good as well.

Went to see Dr. Sue for the first time with a baby bunny and to acquire about a death of my 5 month old bunny that I took to another vet. Dr. Sue spent over an hour with me and little Peanut. She answered all of my questions and was able to shine some light on the unexpected death of my other baby. I did not feel pressured to leave and she told me to email her if I have any other questions or concerns. All of the staff and vet techs were awesome also. I love this place and am beyond grateful to have found it.
