Ive only taken my cat her once, but I have nothing but good things to say about it. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable. Shes very VERY difficult to control, but he was able to get her to let him check her out nearly completely with very little resistance and gave me as much information about her issues as I had hoped, as well as ideas for how to deal with her issues myself, options for what to do if these methods didnt work, which included tests that could be done, recommended immunizations that could be given and estimates for the cost. My roommate mentioned a place in Federal Way that would have been about $15 to $20 cheaper for a checkup, but that location doesnt do any in depth treatments and I didnt want to drive my cat any farther than I had to, and he might have been wrong about how much that place cost. This checkup was just over $50 and, although I didnt shop around at all (I just noticed they have a good rating on Google), I found that amount to be fair. I think I might ask around for pricing for any tests and procedures though since they are quite a bit more expensive...not that Im saying the prices here are too high (it makes every bit of sense for that type of thing to cost lots more), just that I would want to compare with other highly rated veterinarians to be sure.

After living in many states and visiting many different vets, our visit with Dr. Felts and the staff at Marine View has been the best Ive ever had. I brought my dogs in for heartworm preventative and was seen by an actual vet. At some clinics Ive been to, they will send in a technician and seeing a vet is an extra charge. Dr. Felts was amazing with my dogs. He was super informative so far as medication options and test options go. He presented options without making it sound like your dog was going to die if the tests didnt happen. You dont feel pushed into spending $1000 on unnecessary things, but all options are there for you. Additionally, one of my dogs is shy and takes a while to warm up to new people, specifically men. Being in new places makes him nervous. In the past vets were very quick to just muzzle him and push him quickly through the visit, but that only makes him MORE anxious. Dr. Felts was patient and understanding and let Mojo take his time getting used to him with some treats and soft words. No muzzle necessary! I was a little worried about the weight of my older dog and he said to feel free to drop in and pop her on the scale anytime if I want to track her weight. The entire staff is completely helpful, warm, and genuinely happy to be working in this office.

I have been receiving cat care at Marine View Veterinary Hospital since 2013. They are always kind and caring. When it looked like care for my Lili was going to get really expensive they helped me apply for Care Credit a special card that can help with vet bills. Lili passed away in June 2014 and they were so wonderful to me. Dr. Jon held her little body as though she were his own cat. She was probably 17 and had a really good life for most of that time with me. Later that year I adopted Diavolo, the community cat here at our apartments....or should I say he adopted me. There was no question as to who would be his doctor. I booked an appointment for a checkup and shots and several months later took him in for a microchip. Always great service from kind, caring, compassionate, professional people.

Marine View Veterinary Hospital (MVVH) provides both outstanding veterinary care for our animals and truly concerned and caring client service. A visit to MVVH is a first class experience in providing excellent animal health care even under trying circumstances. The office staff is always solicitous of both our pets and our concerns. The veterinary staff is extremely competent and practice in the most well equipped small animal veterinary hospital I have ever seen outside of a specialty clinic ..and I have seen many over the years all across the U.S. As a retired emergency physician, I have always been truly impressed by everything I have experienced at MVVH over the past 30+ years of being served by them. I unhesitatingly recommend MVVH for superb veterinary care for beloved pets.

This was my first time at this vet and I read all the amazing reviews and so I decided to try them out. I will admit I arrived 10 mins late for my 8:45am appointment and I was glad when they were still able to check me into a room. As I sat waiting for 10ish mins for the vet to come in the vet tech/nurse came back and informed me that since I came late the next client was gonna be there soon and needed the room so I, who was already in the room, had to reschedule my appointment and leave. I was very upset and distraught. Never have I ever been kicked out of a vet while in the room. If this is how they treat brand new clients Im extremely disgusted. For a small vet clinic you would think every person/pet would be important. I will never come back here again.

I have known Dr. Felts for years and have taken all my pets to him. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and thorough. After many years of practice it is obvious that he is still very enthusiastic about his work and that he keeps updated in the field as well. He has gone out of his way to follow up on my pets health matters and to constantly reevaluate their treatment as needed. I like that he works with me and considers my opinion and my budget in making decisions about what is best for my "babies". His staff is also very professional and friendly and replies to my emails quickly! I would recommend this practice absolutely!

Id like to thank Dr. Cullum, Dr. Felts, Shannon, Sue and all the other great staff. My senior dog had a tumor removed and several teeth extracted. Everyone listened to my MANY concerns about this procedure and were very generous with their time to ease my mind about pallative care and whats options are for Ed. As a special touch they sent ED home with a matching Grateful Dead bandage that matches his Grateful Dead collar. :) These guys are good...I wouldnt hesitate to seek care for my pets from this team of professionals.

Marine View is the best veterinary office I have ever experienced. Dr. Felts and the Marine View staff are all exceptional and take excellent care of our cats. A small town feel to this office with personalized service makes it unique. Ive never felt rushed during a visit and vets are passionate about the well being of their patients. Even if we moved I would continue to take my pets to this vets office. They are definitely 5 star service!

Marine View Vet is like my second home. I have been going there almost 20 years. Both of my animals during that time were medically challenging. Unlike other vets that send you to specialists because they cant/wont try to heal your pet. The docs at Marine View work hard, very hard, on getting your animal stable and happy. The whole team there is very caring and understanding. I would never take my animals elsewhere!!!
