In the last year my dog was bitten by a raccoon pretty severely on his hind quarters. Being a VERY fuzzy dog, I had no idea he was injured until the wound was really infected. I took him to the vet at Luna Park. They shaved my poor doggie and dressed his wounds. They provided fair care to my very much loved friend. Almost a year has passed since the initial raccoon bite....and ...well.....he was attacked again. Another pretty severe injury. This time I noticed right away, so I took him back to the vet at Luna Park. My problem with this vet is that I had just paid all my bills ect....and was really strapped for money the day before payday. I literallyhad $30 dollars to my name....most of us have been there.....I told the office girls my issue and they said they wouldnt consider even looking at my poor injured dog without payment up front. -First of all....they didnt demand payment up front before.....-second.....out of respect for them, I told them BEFORE I had any services that I wouldnt have any money until midnight. I could have just kept my mouth shut until after they helped my dog. They refused to help us. I begged them to PLEASE work something out with me....a check.....keep my dog until the next morning...ANYTHING. they refused unless I paid at least half of the bill up front. So my poor dog bleeding and injured (and 14 years old) and I had to find services elsewhere. * I realize that this is a tough world...and they are running a business.....but we were repeat customers of thier establishment, they already provided care to my elderly fuzzy friend in the past....I figured that would count for something as well as be best for my dog as they have his records onsite. Still.....I even pled with the doctor to help....surely there must be something that they could do to work something out....stil the answer was NO. I guess that money was much more important to them than providing care for an obviously injured animal. I ask this....what would be the biggest risk for them???? an unpaid bill? COLLECTIONS???? Guess I should have just kept my mouth shut until AFTER they helped us....and just told them to bill me....and then paid the bill the very next day. WOW....huge risk for them. The risk to us was possible death and suffering of my very sweet and helpless dog. I will NEVER grace this establishment with my business OR the love of my great friend "King" again. Shame on them.

After a bad experience with a vet in the west seattle area perviously, we decided that when our dog needed to see a vet again we would try Luna Park. I am so thankful that we did! Today our dog still had a skin rash that Benadryl was not helping. We called to see if we needed to set up an appointment and the gal was very friendly and told us we could walk in now if we had time as there were no patients in the office waiting. We walked down there and were greeted right away with friendly smiles. After we did some paperwork we were taken back to the exam room very quickly. We met with a vet assistant first and she was very kind and took care of our dog as if it were her own. Our dog is very skittish and shy so this was a definite plus. After the initial exam was complete, we met with Dr. Griffith who introduced himself politely and was very informative and kind. Very impressed with him not only being able to relate to our dog, but to us as well. The price was what we expected and they did not try and up-sell us on anything. Over all this was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back to them!

My husband came home at 10:30pm last night to find a cat who had a tag for your center on his collar wandering our alley. My husband called your number and left a message stating we had found the cat but were unfortunately unable to take her in due to allergies and our dog. We did our best to keep the cat in our backyard however she got out. The most upsetting part is we did not receive a response from you after our message and being pet owners ourselves found this to be very unsettling. The lesson we have learned is that we will not be using your place of business for our pet needs nor refer others to your business. I am in utter shock we did not receive at least a call stating you had received our message and were concerned yourselves for the cats well being. I feel extremely sorry for the family you have let down.

When we moved to White Center a few years ago, I picked this vet after reading reviews online and now Im adding my own review to the list. The team here is great! They are very straightforward about costs and will not push expensive procedures if they arent necessary. The vets are kind and knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions, even if they seem silly. The staff are friendly and well-organized, and they all clearly love animals, even animals who seem difficult. They have been wonderful to both our dog (who had a congenital liver condition) and our cat who is now 16 years old. When our dog passed away last year, they sent us a heartfelt card with their condolences, which meant a lot to us.

This place is really nice, the parking lot is a pain but with how friendly the staff is you can overlook it very easily. They offer pet lodging for a reasonable price, so if you need to flea bomb or are doing some remodeling or even moving theyll take care of your pet for the day! This saved us when our water tank failed once and they were happy to same day us. The vets are very knowledgeable as well. They dont do appointments here though, so plan your day accordingly as their non peak times are when everyone is at work. This seems kind of annoying but is actually pretty nice as you can pick the time that youre available and head on in.

I have been taking my animals, a dog and two cats, to the Pet Care Center at Luna Park for over 6 years and have always had a great experience. The staff are very caring and concerned and I always get reminders and call backs which are very helpful. Medications for the animals are reasonably priced and similar to the online prices so I would much rather buy from a trusted vet. Online access to my pets records are also a plus. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

My dogs have been cared for by the people at Pet Care Center for many years. The staff is excellent and the vets are well-trained, caring and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend the services provided here, which include grooming. Pet Care Center now accepts appointments, which I really appreciate, and I bring my two dogs in together for their annual visits, grooming, etc. Very convenient. Lastly, the parking lot was recently expanded so parking is never a problem.

All the people and doctors we have worked with here have treated us very well. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in. We have taken our pets here for the last 15 years. I took my cat in for emergency close to their closing time and they all stayed late to ensure she was taken care of. None of the staff complained and they seemed so happy to help! All of my family takes their pets here and now some of my friends are switching to this vet.
