To start my friend took her cat to the vet in JANUARY. The vet informed her that her cat had had a stroke and that she would not make it. They informed her that she should put her cat down. She wanted to be in the room with her but was told that she couldnt be with her. She proceeded to sign the paperwork and pay her bill. This was a very upsetting decision that they had to make since she was part of her family. So, on 04-15-16 she received a call from the Pierce County Humane Society stating that they had her cat. She ask them to email her a picture since her cat had been euthanized in January. The picture was her cat. She proceeded to go and pick up her baby at which point they were informed that she had lost a lot of weight and had part of her tail gone. Prior to picking up her baby she stopped by the Vets Office to receive the document that stated that they had euthanized her cat back in January. So, where has her cat been the last three months? What type of Vet would treat a pet and its family this way. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Our cats have seen both vets here and they are wonderful. So helpful with any questions or concerns we have. They avoid unnecessary tests and were so helpful with our cat who had kidney issues. And when I adopted my three legfed cat from the humane society the first check up was free within the first five days of having the cat. They treated him for one set of worms and when i had to take him back a week later it turned out he had a different kind of worms and they actually discounted the medicine, maybe because they missed the second worms the first time? They are usuay pretty helpful over the phone and pretty spot on with the estimated costs too. They are all super friendly and most times the wait time isnt long at all and they dont rush the visit. They answer all questions we have even if they seem like silly questions. Also they sent a nice sympathy card when they found out our cat with the kidney problems passed away.

I made my first trip here yesterday as we just moved to the area and had to change vets. Im very hesitant with new veterinary clinics, because previous ones we have had bad experiences with and I just want friendly straightforward and honest care for my fur babies. Thats exactly what we got here, along with plenty of parking, clean environment and great hours so I can make appointments after I get off work. The entire staff loved my two pups and let them jump on them and lick them and helped me wrestle them both! They were super patient with my smallest, who is an energetic wiggle ball of teeth and fur and just laughed. She didnt even notice her shots. The fair pricing and military discount is a huge plus as well. We are excited to be returning to this clinic hopefully forever and will definitely be recommending to our other fur friends!

Dr. Petersen was incredible when he figured out my dogs lameness/back problem had been misdiagnosed by another vet as a bulging disk and was actually a severely low thyroid problem. With the right medication my dog stopped dragging his leg, lost weight, and had tons of energy again. I was amazed at the change in my pet after multiple visits, and hundreds of dollars spent somewhere else where we were getting no where. Since then, I started taking all of my animals to Dr. Petersen, where he also managed to get my other dogs allergies totally under control!! The office staff are always so friendly to my big dogs, and always try to get me in to be seen even on weekends! I wont take my animals anywhere else! We love this place!! Very compassionate doctors and staff!

I started taking my dog to this vet clinic a little over a year ago when I moved to Washington. It was a big change for both me and my Chessie. But Dr. Petersen and the staff here have taken excellent care of my senior boy. Theyve helped me manage his joint pain so he can still act like the puppy that he feels like inside. Ive boarded my dogs and my cat here several times when I had to be out of town, and the staff is always good to my animals - theyre always happy to see everyone in the office (I cant exactly blame them for not liking the temperature taking). Beyond how they treat my animals, I love how they treat me - with kindness and respect. You can tell the people here genuinely love animals. I know I can trust them with mine.

The vets and assistants are one of the nicest people you can ever imagine. Not only did they save a kitten, that my husband and I had found, but they took care of it like it was their own. They could have given up on our little feral kitten, but they never gave up. Our kitten was way to young to be away from his mother but thanks to the vets and Dr. Peterson our kitten is alive. They took our kitten home when he was really sick due to a blockage in his stomach and continuely treated our kitten for almost a week. The care and love they gave to our little kitten was above and beyond what other vets would have done. I would highly recommend that you take your animals to this vet. The staff are so friendly and true animal lovers.

I love them here! They are wonderful with Cats and dogs! I love that they support the military with a 10% discount! I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. My older dog is over weight and blind. They are helping her with her weight issues. They do a great job with animals over weight! They care and give full attention to you and make sure you have all your needs for your pet taken care of. They always tell you up front what something will cost before they do it. There are no hidden fees or costs. Amazing people

I have taken my pets to Dr Peterson and his wife since 1993 and have found them and their staff to always be honest, caring, sincere, and gentle with them and me. Dr Peterson is in no way affiliated with VCA Hospitals and he is accredited with the American Animal Hospital Association. They also accept Care Credit which is medical credit card. I will always recommend them to anyone I know.

Weve been here twice - once because we saw a hit and run dog and brought it to them - they were so kind and gentle with him I was impressed. We had to go back last July to put our 14year old boy down - the entire staff was very caring - gave us all the time we needed - and helped to comfort our fur baby and our family. This office and their staff are amazing!

I had to put my dog to sleep the other day and I chose this clinic as Ive had good experiences before with my other pets. The staff was friendly and compassionate as usual. They were knowledgeable and upfront with me about everything that happened. I couldnt have asked for a better experience or team. Thank you all so much.
