While I was away in Canada my husband had to bring our 12 yr old Lab to this clinic because our Veterinarian was not available. The result was our dog was euthanized and my husband felt the treatment given was wonderful. My husbands credit card would not process and they allowed him to pay the next day. My husband recommended we take our cat to the Oak Forest Animal clinic for his next routine appointment. This is by far the best experience I have had with any Animal Clinic. The doctors do very thorough animal exams at every visit and discuss with you at length the options for care. I trust and appreciate this level of care for our pets. I wish I could find a General Practitioner for myself that would show this level of patient care! We recently adopted 2 puppies and take our whole clan to see Dr. Ben Welbourne, he is my favourite! He shows such passion in what he does!

My 1 and a half year old shepherd recently got sick and needed an operation to save his life that my wife and I could not afford. It seemed the only Doctor there that had any kind of compassion for animals was Dr. Ben. The older gentleman made me feel worse about my dog while he was lying on his deathbed insisting that he "wasnt looking good" and looking through the papers like there was nothing that he could of done. My dog was my best friend and I hated to see him suffer, I cant help but think that if Dr. Ben were there he could of given my dog the help he needed and saved me from this horrible loss. Dr. Ben is a true Veterinarian, he knew that my dog meant much more to me than a $3k price tag and that if I could afford it I would have. Thanks again Dr. Ben

they live for the dollar. after spending $400 on my dog the day before surgery was needed. they needed an additional $2000 cash up front. I only had $900 available at the time. (i was getting paid in 3 days and would have had it in full then). I was told to take my dog and leave and never return. I was fortunate to find another vet who was able to help me out no questions asked. If they would have helped me they would have had a client with multiple dogs for life. Instead they showed thier true colors and now they have yet another detractor. thanks for not caring about animals.

Our vet who gives our pups their annual shots and physicals is a vet who makes house calls (Dale Klein). When we are in a pinch for quicker, more emergency-like services, we bring our dogs to Oak Forest Animal Clinic. All of the employees there are courteous and professional. Dale Klein is slightly less expensive because we, as customers/patients, are not paying for any building overhead costs. Oak Forest Animal Clinic is pricey but it certainly falls within the norm of any animal clinic.

As a family we are so greatful to have found such caring and skilled professionals. Cant imagine going anywhere else. Weather you need a regular vet check or are dealing with a serious illness/injury the staff and vets will take the very best care if your furry family member. Our fur family consists of five dogs. Four are special needs and have had significant medical issues. We gave seen and experienced our share if vets. I feel confident youll live it at the Oak Forest Animal Clinic.

I was battling fleas for 6months. I thought I could handle them myself, but nothing seem to work. I finally came here and immediately felt welcome. My cat ended up having an allergic reaction to the flea bites and was miserable. They gave her a steroid shot and within 24hours she was better. Dr was very knowledgeable and professional. With his advice and care I can now say my animals and house are flea free! Thanks again!

I have been taking my pets to Oak Forest Animal Clinic for almost 25 years - and my parents took our pets there when I was growing up. I fully trust both Drs. Welbourne and the care they give my animals. The staff is always friendly and helpful, too. The office hours are very convenient as well. I have nothing but good things to say about OFAC and the treatment all of my pets have received!

A very sad event brought us to Oak Forest Animal Clinic. They were helpful and sympathetic on the phone and managed to get us in within an hour. When it was time to say goodbye to our boy they were kind, patient, and compassionate. When its time for our family to have another puppy, this will be our vet of choice. Fantastic little location here! I would advise that anyone with a timid/not socially adept animal bring a cage since the waiting area is rather small, but it works. The staff in there are excellent and friendly and have helped my pet on a few occasions here without any issue. Its out of my way but I still like to go here.

The doctors genuinely care about your pets. Weve been bringing our dogs here for at least 15 years and weve had 4. 2 are no longer with us and while one was very sick they we so very compassionate every step of the way. I cant say enough good things about them!
