The worst customer service ever! The girl at the desk misspeaks and acts like its your fault. She mixed up my address, said they gave my dog phenobarbital instead of prednisone and acted like I was crazy for questioning her statement. All they care about is money, not your pet. They tortured my dog when cleaning his ears, gave him a lot unnecessary medication. The follow up visit was with another vet who told my mom it was allergies because dr saviori had prescribed prednisone for inflammation of the ears but the second vet assumed it was for allergies, now dr saviori is backtracking and saying it was for allergies when he clearly told me it was for inflammation of the ears! All the while acting like Im being unreasonable for asking questions after I paid them $370. My dog lost 12% of his body weight in between visits which is why I am concerned. Also I noticed when I got him back from treatment his penis is now misshapen when it was straight. I knew I shouldnt have trusted them alone with my pet. Dont make the same mistake I did. Oh and this second vet is impossible to reach apparently. I guess Ill have to start putting my questions in writing to dr frask.

After adopting my dog I was recommended to come here. My dog got his first set of vaccines here and not knowing much about dog vaccines, a $200 seemed affordable. Dr. Perez seemed friendly and gave my dog a treat. We didnt wait long or were treated bad. The next visit, about a week later, We had another Vet instead. Some Polish guy who didnt seem so friendly. When I asked simple questions about the vaccines and their side effects he got aggravated and didnt explain anything, his reason being was that there wasnt enough time to explain everything about every vaccine even though I had just asked if there was side effects to them. He talked with a tone that made me feel like he was basically talking down on me. A very friendly woman of color game me a folder with doggy treats and some coupons for dog food. The woman on the front desk gave her a very visible, not so secretive look as if she was bothered by it. With that said, I switched to another Animal hospital near my house.

I became Dr. Perez Client after a year and a half of adopting 2 chihuahuas. They have been anything but great to me and my 2 dogs. They help me every time I need their advise. I took my dogs there about 3 months ago for vaccinations before going to the country, and the person who took care of them was very clear and fair, she told me the dogs didnt any vaccinations or anything special. I didnt spend one cent that day. Yes, they are expensive, but like any other vet clinic, especially with 2 dogs. At least they are honest about it. When I know Im spending too much money, I let them know what my budget is and we go from there. Obviously some people wont feel comfortable depending on their personalities and attitudes, but every person at Brighton PArk Animal Hospital is good, efficient, and fair. If the client cant take it, go somewhere else, Im very happy and satisfied with them :)

Saved my German Shepard, very busy guys but they took care of him when Arboretum hospital Downers Grove almost killed him, Dr.Perez was great, tough talker but his ability as a doctor was as tough as his attitude, they diagnosed my dog immediately while arboretum hospital Downers Grove wanted $6000.00 to do exploratory surgery for 2 days and I seen the dog gasping for air, Dr.Gruszka dove right in and surgically installed drains in the dogs neck to relieve the fluids that were swelling and choking him ,when I asked this of arboretum they refused, then he immediately ran cultures and blood tests before I left, Great Doctors , not about the money about there job. I owe Them at least this review, wouldnt go anywhere else, they were recommended to me by the PAWS organization in my dire strait and I want to thank Perez,Guskzka, and PAWS all for doing what they do so well.

Took my cat in for an infection cause by another cats bite. My cat began to lose a substantial amount of weight due to this and the vetenarian knowing well that the cat was too weak offered a neutering job. I agreed since I didnt want any more cuarrels between all my cats and so felt that since it was a professional oferring the service he must have known better but now after about 10 days my cats has passed away. I believe these team of people took advantage of my desperation for my cats well being that they just threw in a bunch of procedures only for the charge. Clearly to them pets ar only a means of getting money. My advice to their future patients parents is to not let your emotional state cloud your better judgment when offered a bunch of procedures that they say is " better" to add on.

The are only 2 reasons I dislike this place. First, obviously the price I did not mind the price before I heard places had it cheaper, but everyone is nice. Second, because their grooming place is HORRIBLE at first it was great I use to love the groomer but then it was some new guy and he would hurt my dog. One time he let water get in her ear and then she got an ear infection I went back to complain and I still had to pay. Then, he messed up her eye it was swollen and irritated and he said that some hair got in and it would get better it got worse. The last time he left water in her ear again. Im paying money so he can hurt her? NO, not going there anymore!!!!

Great place and friendly very reasonable prices. They would do follow ups to make sure everything is OK as much is this place needs a make over they still have a good staff and good doctors there. I truly recommend it. One thing about Dr. Perez is that hes not there to play around hes there to tell you how it is so you can take care of your love one and the best way possible. Why would you want a doctor that smiles all the time versus one who is direct and tells you honestly. Wouldnt you want a Dr. like that.

Weve brought our cats here for years and have always had a great experience. Weve seen both dr. Gruszka and Dr. Vandervelde, both excellent. Staff is helpful, and not pushy!, and offer honest opinions about whether specific treatments are likely to be effective and crucial - or whether there is some question. They are very good with the animals and their owners, too. The other thing I love is how reasonable their fees are. Were so happy to have them in the neighborhood!

Dr. Perez made every effort to explain my new dogs health status and what steps to follow to keep her healthy. He was professional and even affectionate with our small dog. I did not feel overcharged for the examinations and tests. He was genuinely concerned about having us comfortable as new customers and making sure we had all our questions answered. Having been so nervous about finding my first vet in the city, I am relieved I found this hospital first!

If you see him walking around from room to room, you might think his a very strict and mean, but was I completely wrong. Dr Perez is soo kind and warm and so understanding. My dog had complications and passed away but not before Dr.Perez and his crew doing everything they could. Since my dog had an emergency they put my dog as top priority and did all they can. I could never ask for anything else from a doctor. YOU MOST GO SEE Dr. Perez.
