I have had nothing but issues with this vet, we are still paying for their puppy program until July but I will be seeing another vet. I have an 8 month old puppy, from the first month I got her she has been very itchy. I believe she has had one visit a month since we got her in June and I was told over and over again that she was okay and would probably grow out of it. The day before I got her fixed she had a hot spot on her tail that she made bleed, I was very concerned about infection so we brought her in... just to again be told that its just a hot spot, probabaly allergies. At this point I had been told, fleas (shes never had them) normal puppy skin (this is far from normal I have had pets my entire life) and now allergies (seriously...). We take her in for her tail they shave it and say it will heal, the next morning she is brought in to be fixed. I write on her paperwork for them to check her skin again, (I refuse to give up). Nothing comes back, Im not even told if they looked at her. We get her home, her stitches look very half heartedly done, Im worried about them ripping so we do what we can to keep her calm. Two days later her ears are bleeding from being itchy and Im sure she has and ear infection, also two spots where shes stitched look awful. We get her in, same day. A vet tech, is helping us, we bring up her skin again. The tech looks at her skin and says "this looks like mange why wasnt this looked at when she was fixed". (You have got to be kidding me!!!) We are told her stitches are fine and to make another appointment to have her skin scraped and texted for mange, we make an appointment foe the next day. They have to test her ears for infection and say they will call that night. We get a call that her ears are infected and that I can get medication the next morning (same day as skin appointment) our pups ears were super bad so I went in as soon as they opened so I could treat her right away. The lady at the desk hands me the medicine takes my money and walks away. She doesnt ask if I have used it nor does she tell me what I need to do. I assume its self explanatory. Our pup had her skin scrape appointment later that day, we bring her in and sure enough this poor dog has had mange since the day she was born. We are then told that her ear medication is not just the drops I was given that morning but also a flush that I didnt receive. Perfect. Way to go Banfield with youre amazing customer service skills. Thank you so much vets for not doing your job, thank you for ignoring me seven times, at least. To treat the mange we are given a shampoo to help her, as well as a perscruption foe 3 pills that we have to get from a different clinic. I had time so I went home to read about the pills and find out you cant give it to the dog if they have taken another flea medication, which she has... they give it to me every month but failed to tell me that I needed to wait. I call explain what I read and ask when I can give her this pill for the mange, two weeks. (Thank you again for not doing your job.) Last night was the two week mark. The directions say to give it to her once every 12 weeks. The vet said one pill a month for 3 months. To make sure we call today and are told we only have to treat her ONCE! So what is it, once a month, once ever 12 weeks or one pill period? (Im shaking mad) Again, I am done with this "clinic". The customer service at the desk is very poor, the vets do not listen, they have made me feel unheard, disrespect and I do not trust them with my dogs health. I have never had so many issues, I dont have one positive thing to say and I am not one to complain. This has gone too far, this relationship is done. I urge you, choose a different vet in the area... any vet in the area.

I took my one year old Labrador to them to get neutered. The vet told me when I went to pick him up everything went great. Few days later hes not eating, vomiting, and his stomach is distended. So I took him to an emergency vet. They ran tests and found his urethra might have been nicked during the surgery so they performed emergency surgery to repair it. Once the operated they found out the Banfield vet removed his prostate mistaking it for a testicle, shredded his urethra, and irreparably damaged his bladder. My dog died as a result of what Banfield did to him.

Its pretty bad when we pay monthly for the wellness plans for our pets, but its a week to a month before you can get them in to be seen. They need more doctors and need to stay open later. No Im not paying for emergency visit when I pay YOU every month!

Took my 4 year old to great a wellness checkup. They were caring and told me she had a yeast infection in her ear. Compassionate caring people.
