After having a hip replacement, I have been so thankful for Phil Koffler at LoDo Physical Therapy. I know that my recovery would not of been this successful without him! His keen observation just watching you walk can tell him at a glance what areas need to be worked on and he gives you the right exercises and stretches to strengthen those areas. I always feel so much better after his manual adjustments and his knowledge and expertise are the reason I can now walk without pain. Informative, professional, addresses all questions and concerns! His Office Manager, Lesa Lancendorfer, handles appointments and insurance issues accurately and efficiently and her friendly manner makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter the office.

I’m typically an active person, I run 3 miles a day, and hike in the summer and ski in the winter. My boss recommended Lodo Physical Therapy when I sustained a shoulder injury. I knew there was a problem when my shoulder started slowing me down. I started seeing David and my shoulder improved considerably! I sustained a separate injury to my neck months later. I thought, I’ll try this other PT office on Lowry near where I work and live. They didn’t hold a candle to David. After a week, I went back to Lodo PT, and it was worth the drive. From now on, this is the only place I will trust with my injuries. David is professional, kind, and he knows what he’s doing.

I wholeheartedly endorse LoDo Physical Therapy and my physical therapist, David Vanas. I went for what I thought was an Achilles issue, but was diagnosed with a torn soleus muscle. Through dry needling, targeted muscle work, and homework exercises, I am making great progress. With patience and good humor, David has worked to repair, strengthen, and improve the range of motion and function of my calves and ankles. It has been a long process to overcome this painful and frustrating injury; however, with the excellent treatment and personal attention I have made incredible progress. I will be running again soon – better and stronger for sure. Thanks David!

I am going to LoDo Physical Therapy for an inner ear issue... seems strange no? David is the best physical therapist I have ever been to!! evaluated me and is now working on the inner ear issue as well as my balance. In less than 2 weeks I can see improvement!! I have never been a big supporter of physical therapy - but I think I have not been to a GOOD physical therapist! I would highly recommend LoDo Physical Therapy and I will continue going - which is NOT something I thought I would do. Staff (Leesa) are so friendly! Central downtown location - which is a HUGE plus!!

Life happens and I cant express enough gratitude to David Vanas. Dry needling my shoulders and neck to help with trigger points and pinched nerves. The relief is priceless. I am very pleased with all of the staff they are friendly and helpful. So many physical therapy offices feel like assembly lines but the small one on one attention you receive here is like family. I came to them originally after knee surgery a few years ago and the recovery was a lot easier with a great PT Family. Cant say enough good things about these guys.

I went to LoDo Physical Therapy for a back problem, I worked with Tim and I cant say enough great things about my experience with him and the team at LoDo Physical Therapy! My PT was specific and the goal was to get me up and back to my normal self as quick and safely as possible, they really care about your recovery and it shows. The office staff is amazing, its a comfortable, friendly and happy environment for your PT needs. Easy to access from the parking garage or street parking. I highly recommend LoDo Physical Therapy.

Ive been going to Phil for a long time. In comparison with other PTs around town, he is by far the best. The LoDo team always goes out of their way to accommodate me and my schedule, and the location is convenient and accessible. Phil has helped me with lower back pain and stiffness the past four years. He is efficient, professional and effective. The clinic is always well kept and modern with a friendly staff throughout. I will continue to recommend the entire LoDo Clinic staff to anyone needing physical therapy of any kind.

First of all, I have never left a review before. However, with all honesty I can say they are the most brilliant physical therapists. I first started seeing Phil after a 20 year headache that was treated as a migraine. He took one look at me and said "you simply have terrible" neck muscles. You need to strengthen your neck, etc. And I did and my life changed! I have sent many friends and no one has regretted going to LoDo Physical Therapy. My advice to anyone is to give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Do yourself a favor and go to LoDo Physical Therapy. My past experiences with PT was not so great, but luckily a friend recommended Phil to me. I dont know how he does it, but he is able to know exactly what your issues. He works with you during your session and manipulates your body in ways I didnt know was possible! He provides you with techniques and exercises to help you manage your issues on your own. Hes given me hope that I dont have to live in pain any longer.

I highly recommend anyone needing physical therapy to come here. The staff are welcoming, friendly and are very flexible working with your schedule. Dr. Vanas is an excellent PT. After the initial evaulation, he worked with me on a plan to get my knee and leg muscles back into shape and now after 3 months of hard work, I am able to exercise pain free! My legs feel better than before. Thank you Dr. Vanas and to everyone at Lodo Physical Therapy.

I have a herniated disc and two compressed discs and if not for Phil Koffler and Lodo PT I would have to have a spinal fusion. The thing is that I dont get that much pain from the herniation--it comes from my SI joints--this is not something I would have ever known without Phil and his skill! (ha). But really, if you have confounding pain and nothing has helped--you have not been to Phil.

The LoDo Physical Therapy staff have been fantastic to work with through all my weekend warrior injuries as well as dealing with more pedestrian stuff. They always seek the least invasive treatment possible, focus on teaching patients how to get stronger and better between appointments, and take care of all the insurance paperwork. Whats not to love? Give them a try!

I have been going to Lodo PT for several months now recovering from shoulder surgery and have been more than pleased! Phil and the staff have been great about getting my strength and RoM back as well as taking care of several smaller issues. His thorough knowledge of the body is impressive and has been very effective in helping me bounce back from an injury!

Phil Koppler, owner of LPT,has helped me post surgery, post injury, and nurtured sucessful recovery for this middle aged male athlete. If you think surgery is the immediate solution, then LPT is not your place. Through a variety of PT procedures, Ive been able to have the results to get back in the game. Theres a lot of work and ice involved.
