I came to physical therapy in pretty sad shape. My recent pregnancy (and really, the two pregnancies prior) had really distressed my muscles, in particular my neck, shoulders, and head. I had trouble standing up without concentrating on it because my pelvis had gotten so compromised. I was dizzy any time I moved my arms, my balance was getting more and more off, driving caused me anxiety, and I was having a hard time sleeping because of the pain. Id recently gotten the lovely fibromyalgia diagnosis from my physican. They prescribed a few different anti depressants and exercise, and I was becoming incredibly frustrated and scared. I had stopped doing so many of my favorite activities (playing the piano, going for walks, riding my bike) because it hurt my shoulders and neck...I really felt like the oldest, most hopeless 32 year old on the planet. To add to my frustration, Id spent so much time and money seeing different chiropractors, trying every diet change and metal detox and cranio-sacral therapy - you name it, Id tried it! On recommendation of my OB, I made an appt with Juliana and Dr Fox. The dry needling has been a godsend for me. The pain didnt come off immediately, but the progress I have made has been amazing. Within two months, I was playing the piano again and driving without the dizzy, strange disorienting feeling. My energy has gotten better, and Im finding that I didnt realize how much pain I was in until it has subsided. Juliana suggested I join a pilates class to help strengthen my stabilizing muscles, and its helped immensely. It hasnt been immediate relief, which isnt surprising considering how much myofascial pain and disfunction I came in with, but they have done more for me in six months than any of the other work Ive had done in the past several years. I havent even had the inclination to revisit the chiropractors or massage therapists or anyone else, and I find myself just grinning any time I touch some of these soft muscles. Thank you, Dr Fox and Juliana. Youve given me hope and helped me to enjoy this new little baby!

"A Fox Physical Therapy has done wonders for me. In Sept 2014 I suffered a very severe concussion. I was suffering from horrible headaches, mood swings, sensitivity to light and sounds, and neck pain from impact. For awhile I never thought I would get better and was very depressed. I tried, acupuncture, massage therapy, and rest. Nothing was helping. I was referred to A Fox from my doctor at Western Orthopedics and began to get immediate relief through a rehab exercise program and dry needling. The combined therapy completely got rid of my headaches within a month and my neck pain within a few months. My mood went back to normal and I was able to to resume my normal physical workouts and activities I enjoy to do like running, hiking, yoga. It also got me back to my firefighting job full time. In the middle of all this I also had shoulder decompression surgery. The dry needling done by Dr. Fox has increased my range of motion in my shoulder and allowed me to get back to firefighting quicker. I had the privilege of working with Maggie, who was amazing, kind and very knowledgeable. I also was dry needled by Allison, Lucas, and Dr. Fox. Dr. Foxs ability to treat pain and symptoms of injuries and headaches is incredible. Her knowledge of dry needling is second to none, and she is able to provide immediate relief of pain. Her demeanor is kind and caring and she takes the time to listen thoroughly to the issues you are having before she treats you. The therapy clinic is clean and organized, the staff is amazing, and the results have been more than I could have ever imagined. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

I saw Lucas in the Golden office after denying my shoulder problems for 2 years. Neglecting the problem that long presented more problems than the average for recovery. During the treatment, he always made himself accessible to answer my many questions and assure me that what I was experiencing was normal. On top of that he was up front & honest about if we didnt see progress within a certain period of time, that he may not be able to help. Thankfully, there was progress and he was able to help, but at least he was honest enough to not bring me in for a years worth of treatment to fill someones pockets. I think that A Fox (especially Lucas) is really much better than your average Physical Therapy offices. I learned a lot about my injury and was never pushed to put myself into pain for my recovery. I was always given alternative exercises that kept me both comfortable and became ultimately a solution to recovery.

I have been to A. Fox Physical Therapy several times for various injuries (mostly back) and have nothing but good things to say about them. I am a fairly aggressive snowboarder and mountain biker, so I wanted to be fixed. My first back injury had me in so much pain I could barely sit. After my first treatment with Annie, the sharp pain was gone the next day (for which I was much relieved), and she was able to help me get back to normal. My most recent (and current) visit is for a shoulder injury. This time I have worked with Vincent and Natalie, and they have been very helpful. The dry needling works wonders for me, and Vincent has a lot of sports medicine background which is great for me. Highly recommended. I skipped the doctor this last time and went straight to physical therapy.

I completed 20 Physical Therapy sessions at the Golden location. Most of my therapy was with Lucas Armstrong. He was a VERY caring individual. Lucas provided me with a program that changed with my progress and made a difference in the quality of my livelihood. I felt like I was a unique individual under his care and never as if my treatment was a cattle call. My therapy was customized to suit my needs and assist in my advancement. At one point, I had hit rock bottom & the pain was horrible. When I finally broke free of the pain, I called Lucas to share the good news. He was as excited as I was. I highly recommend his work. Thank you Lucas for all that you have done for me.

Over the years I have had several physical therapist for a reoccurring injury however it was not until two years ago when I went to A. Fox Physical Therapy that I actually received results. Not only did they work with me to fix the problem with Dry Needling rather than just give a short term pain reliever they treated me like family. The front desk knew my name after the first visit and was also professional; they are always on time with their appointments and great to work with. I have and will continue to refer anyone needing therapy to A Fox office.

My Therapist was Julianne, She was Wonderful, Knowledgeable, with the right amount of torture to put me back together after my neck surgery. She was always upbeat and supportive. The office personal were always very Professional. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to get healthy and willing to put in the work necessary to uptain there desired results. All the people at A. Fox Physical Therapy will give you all the tools to push you over and above your goals, but it is ultimately up to you to push yourself.
