I was initially delighted when I saw how friendly and helpful the office staff was and how pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable the waiting room and office environment was. I saw Dr. Sheth for 2 visits regarding some problematic breakouts I was having that were getting out of control for me and ended up cancelling the 3rd visit because I didnt feel comfortable going back. During both visits, I was surprised at her bedside manner as she felt the need to comment both times on how bad my breakouts were (something I was already quite painfully aware of). I didnt get the impression during my first visit that her treatment plan was particularly personalized, as much as it was her just taking a quick glance at me and then writing a script. I was further more taken back when, upon meeting her and telling her I was there for adult acne, she told me I would be "an excellent candidate for botox" to take care of the lines in my forehead. During my second visit, she seemed to be aggravated that there was no improvement in my skin (it had actually gotten a bit worse from the creams I was prescribed). She wasnt reserved in expressing her doubt that I had been using the medications correctly, which I had been, exactly as I was instructed for the previous 6 weeks. She then suggested starting me on oral antibiotics. When I asked if they would be safe for me to take in the event I became pregnant (I was not at the time, but did get pregnant a few months later), she became visibly upset and very harshly told me with an abrupt change of demeanor, "Well I assumed that you would not be getting pregnant due to"...(a birth control issue I had discussed with her earlier). She went on for a bit about that and honestly, I felt nothing but scolded and disrespected by someone I thought I had a professional relationship with. My overall impression was that, although she seemed at first to have a very calming personality, she also appears to be easily irritated, unreasonably rude, and unprofessional- something that I cant justify when choosing a healthcare professional. I think its great that shes been able to help other clients, who have shared rave reviews above, but this just wasnt the right doctor for me.

Dr. Sheth is like no other dermatologist Ive had in years. Honestly I thought she only focused on cosmetic issues. Diseases of the skin is a different ball of wax. She knows of this evil called psoriasis. She questioned my 20 year history with this disease and devised a game plan for treatment. Shes confident in her abilities and shows it...without the arrogance. She excised a mole from my face and a nevi from my chest. No scarring. She too has a pleasant disposition. Her staff are as professional as can be. Theres not an "attitude" among them. They are the first face of this practice. Thats important. A bad staff can break a practice no matter how good a doctor is. They are a welcoming bunch and make you feel at ease. On the business end theyre on top of things. Always respectful. The facility has a modern decor and is spotless. So yeah, I recommend her. And you can take that to the bank.

Dr. Sheth was amazing!! I was misdiagnosed for years and she was finally able to shed light on what was really going on with my skin. Not only was she amazing and professional, she was caring above all. She showed compassion for my situation. I called in the morning and they fit my in that morning even though I was a new patient. Im so thankful they were able to see me that day because my skin is amazing now!! Thanks so much Dr. Sheth!!

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Sheth and her staff to anyone without any hesitation. Dr. Sheths level of comfort, expertise and knowledge made up for any discomfort I had walking in there for my first time. I have been an ongoing patient of hers for three years now and was pleased to find out about her new office in Orland Park.
