I just cant thank Kate and Dr. Boote and staff for being so compassionate and caring when my dog went into acute congestive heart failure, unexpectedly. I had to take my dog to Newton veterinary hospital for emergency care during the night. I was told that my dog needed to see a cardiologist ASAP for further care. Due to the prices of specialty care doctors I knew that was not an option. I left there feeling helpless but was able to FB message with Shohola Veterinary, kate responded quickly and reassured me that my dog could be cared for and treated by Dr. Boote and staff. My baby was welcomed with open arms the very next day, they made my children and I feel at ease. We now have a treatment plan in place and daily meds to treat him for the rest of his life. 1 day later and he is so much better. The facility is clean, staff is friendly, and very professional with a wonderful bedside manner. Reasonable prices for service and meds

My 4 year old Standard Poodle in one day spiked over 105* temperature. He was so sick. I called my vet in NJ and they could not see him. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. DeMeo (Boote). I called the office and they said bring him right in. The care that day by Dr. DeMeo and her staff was amazing! You can tell how much they cared not only about my dog, but how I was feeling. My dog ended up having major surgery as he had a tear in his esophagus which created a large abscess in a dangerous area of his neck. Just after meeting Dr. DeMeo and her staff I knew my dog would be in the best hands for the surgery. He is doing great and I cant thank Dr. and her staff for their wonderful care. I would highly recommend this vet ten times over.

Today was my first experience with Shohola Veterinary. Dr.Boote, as well as the tech, Kate, could not have POSSIBLY been nicer, more compassionate, or more thorough.....and Im an EXTREMELY critical person. I cant thank them enough for the way that they handled helping my beloved Dexter to cross the "rainbow bridge".

Dr. Boote is great. I only have experience with cats, but she takes very good care of them, isnt overly aggressive with treatment, and is very kind. The staff is wonderful and the facility is very clean and professional.

The staff and doctor are wonderful. I am only here in the summer, and whenever I have a problem with my dog, they take her right in. Highly recommend this Vet.
