Id just about given up on Bainfeild pet hospital. Id been going to one by the cord cord mall- not only had they scammed me to pay an additional 50 dollars (when I pay 25/month on their pet plan for free visits) but they literally would NEVER see my dog. If she had an ear infection- wait 3 weeks. Worse, if she swallowed something, was injured,- even throwing up, and I THOUGHT she may have ingested something toxic but was unsure, I got "go to an emergency pet hospital" as my response. Whats the 25/ month going toward, right? Well my bundle of joy was injured in a Saturday- of course I received the same responses by all of the surrounding Banfeilds- except Soringfield. Thigh overbooked, they made room to do an emergency surgery, treated her incredibly well, and cost me 1/9 (my Bainfield plan) what the emergency pet hospital woulda have. I live an hour and a half from Springfeilds Banfield, and I plan on ONLY going to them from now on. 5 stars to this Banfeild, and 0 for all all others in Delware and Pennsylvania. They were truly invested in my dogs health. I was in tears from being upset of my dogs injury, then in tears from happiness and relief after coming to Bainfield in Springfield. If youre a pet owner whose been in the situation where a pet is seriously injured- and youre unsure if its life threatening- if you need to go to the pet emergency hospital (1,500 to walk in the door- before seeing a vet/ having them do anything) or if its something that can wait, or if its not anything at all- its nerve racking. I thought the 25/month was supposed to prevent me from having to deal with those situations and unfortunately- specially the Banfiekd by Concord mall- had been HORRIBLE- in every way inamaginable (they also stabbed my dog in the clavicle- through the bone with her first shot cause she squirmed and dropped a puppy 4.5 feet from the floor) the 2 vets I saw there were belittling, masochistic, apathetic a**holes- that even scammed me for 50 bucks! Sorry- no one should feel comfortable dropping their pet off there! Springfeilds Banfield- I cant say anything bad about. Wonderful place. Please rate Banfield hospitals by the specific location and dont genericaly clump them into a single category.

If i could give this place no stars i would... i have a friend that works for Banfield she was over my house when my dog fell violently ill. She suggested to go to Banfield and told me how excellent they were, Well sadly i took her advice. You guys claim to welcome walk ins well your very rude receptionist informed me while my dog was coughing up bile all over the floor that they do not take walk ins and that the website is wrong and there was nothing they could do ( let me mind you it was 2 oclock and completely empty both rooms were open) She reused my dog help and said she could squeeze me in on Tuesday. Well long story short my dog is currently under going emergency surgery with a vet that wasnt "to busy" for him, and i will NEVER go to nor recommend/allow any of my family/friends. Its sad because i was excited especially after i heard about the wellness plans to make you guys my new vet... But after today i wouldnt take a 12 cent fish to you.

I called about a week ago to get information about unfortunately having to put my 15yo dog down. The man I spoke to was very nice. He asked if I had ever been there and I said no. He was fine with that said it would not be a problem and to call back when we are ready. We will be able to get in same day due to the nature of the visit. We came to the conclusion last night/ early this morning that today was the day. I called as soon as they opened and was told by a woman (after explaining his age and reasoning why it was time and being put on hold 3 times) that they are unable to help him because they have never seen him before and they had no NEW client appointments available today. They turned a heart breaking situation into an even worse one.

We had always been very happy with Banfield during the three years that weve been taking our dog there. The vets and staff seem very caring and knowledgeable. However they recently lost a veterinarian , and have decided not to replace him. This has made it very difficult to receive a sick visit. When we called to try to get our very sick dog seen on a Saturday, we were told it was impossible to see him until Thursday. Not only is that heartless, but also extremely dangerous. I guess were going to have to start looking for a new vet!

We absolutely love Banfield! We love the vet techs and the vets so much because they care a lot about all the animals and Cooper loves them! We always have a thorough exam, but more importantly, whenever we have a concern they make the time to get Cooper seen and address the concern. I truly believe that we have found the greatest place and have recommended two of our friends to Banfield!

I absolutely love everything Banfield in Springfield has to offer! As the owner of PAWSITIVE OUTCOMES Animal Rescue, I have used many other veterinarians prior to Banfield and none of them compare!! Dr. Mule truly cares for each animal as if it were his own and his staff is very friendly and helpful!! The rates are very affordable and the service is outstanding!! Keep up the fabulous work!

Great and honest vet. Ive been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy and havent had any problems. They have a great and affordable care package that really comes in handy for those emergency visits. To top it all off, when another pet of ours was sick, and the doctor who takes care of her particular species was out, they recommended an AWESOME alternative that took great care of her.

They gave my dog so many shots they literally killed him. Misdiagnosed him and kept bullshitting me until he passed away. They also made me pay for the remaining year of his "dog insurance" plan after admitting what they did, Im not the only one who this has happened to and i believe theyre in it for the money. HORRIBLE PLACE

THIS PLACE SUCKS I TOOK MY CAT AND HE DIED I TOOK MY DOG AND IT DIED A MONTH LATER... THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND DONT HELP AT ALL... THEY ARE IN THERE FOR THE MONEY NOT FOR THE HELP...BUT THAT GOES TO ANY PLACE NO BODY HERE IS TO HELP THE ANIMALS ITS ALL FOR THE MONEY. THANK YOU ENOUGH SAID.

If you have a sick dog then you know how stressful it is. The people at the vet are supposed to HELP not make things worse. This was the worst customer service and veterinary care Ive ever experienced. I would not recommend nor will I be going back.

Excellent care and attention to our dogs. Easy to make appointments. Area clean, bright and efficient. Banfield even offers a medical plan for frequent/routine visits that other vet plans do not offer
