I have been going to this vet for a couple years with my dogs. They were nice and friendly towards my dogs. But my most recent visit was to have my cat looked at for something I thought was mild. I ended up having to put him down. I was devastated. The nurse and Dr. Ludwig were kind and explained the process Artemis was going to be put through, they let me take my time with him after making the decision and allowed my Mom to come see him. They reassured me of the decision, the office let me bring Artemis sister in for a check up the same day to make sure she wasnt sick too. The one complaint I have is their receptionist. While many are kind, one is cold hearted and cruel. Her demeanor made me feel like I wasnt validated in my right to mourn. Like my animals didnt matter. Regardless of how she feels, my babies matter to me. Artemis mattered to me. She made him and the struggle and pain of putting him down insignificant. That truly, truly hurt. She should go out and find a little compassion, because I had never put a pet down before. Artemis was two, a baby in my eyes. A little compassion would have gone a long way. I understand that its a minor complaint, and people become desensitized, but its a matter of professionalism.

I love the Animal Clinic of Millville; I live half an hour away and always take my dog there. Im not one for regular checkups (if I dont get them, my dog doesnt need them!), so every time Ive been there its been because shes sick. Each time I call, they find time to get her in that day. The staff is personable (and dogable), and, unlike some other places Ive been, they actually seem to like animals. The office is decorated in a Noahs Ark theme with murals everywhere, and, while I can do without the latent Christianity (they have Christian childrens books available for your childs indoctrination), its cute and well-maintained. The last few times I was there, the place smelled clean, though with this recent visit, its starting to smell a little. But what I like best is that they always call within a day or two to follow up, and if my doggies still not better, they get her back in that day. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

My dachshund was spayed here and stayed over night, I was terrified to bring her and then leave her to stay but through her biting and being a brat they provided EXCELLENT care for her. When I picked her up the next morning I couldnt even tell she had surgery, she was her normal playful self and wasnt stressed or scared at all.. They took great care of my baby and I will be returning when needed :)

They recommended dental surgery for my 14 yr old dachshund , I did it , shes back eating 2 days later , her nasal congestion is gone , her sneezing has slowed down to once or twice a day instead of all day long , 3 other area veterinarians didnt even suggest dental care at all , Dr Ludwig cured everything in 2 visits . He is our vet from now on , staff was great too .

It was good but waiting time was almost 40 mins and there prices are so much for one thing like almost 300 for 4 shots and deworming pills and one tick and flea then we go back for boosters in a month and that maybe almost 250 then there neuter estimated for 300 when I can go to Bellmar for only 75 dollars to get him fixed
