Im very disappointed with the experiences that Ive had with my dog there. My dog has a skin condition that I made the doctor aware of last year. The doctor gave my dog a skin scrape, prescribed antibiotics and told me to purchase Claritin, which I did. After using all of the antibiotics, I continued using Claritin with my dog for 4 months with no positive results. I recently returned because her skin condition has gotten worse. The doctor did a skin scrape, prescribed antibiotics, and told me to use Claritin. I mentioned that we did that already and it didnt work, and we were told "situations may have changed, lets try it again". Being very frustrated, I wrote an email to them expressing my concerns for giving the same treatment that we tried before with no success, and my email was never answered. My receipt said that they would call me in 2 weeks to see how my dog is doing. No one ever called. I finally called them after 3 weeks, and was basically told that "we were never made aware that the medication didnt work". Needless to say, I am very frustrated with the service I received. I made them aware that I was frustrated, and they did nothing to make it up to me. So now I have an entire bottle of pills that I will never use, and they refuse to take back. And when I asked what I am supposed to do now, the doctor said "make another appointment". I do not have any trust in the service I have received from this place. My poor dog is not any better, and I am out $200. It seems to me they only care about my money, and not the well being of my pet.

Our Lhasapoo, Matti, was a patient of North Penn Animal Hospital since her puppy exam in 2000. She primarily saw Dr. Rossi and Dr. Maxwell over those 16-years. She was spade, had surgery to remove a cyst, two dental cleanings and in April 2015, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Dr. Rossi prescribed Vetmedin and other meds for our little girls heart. The prognosis wasnt good, however with Dr. Rossis and the visiting cardiologist, Dr. Helenskis care, Matti lived for 16-more months, with a good quality of life. I was with her 2-evenings ago, when Dr. Rossi administered the drugs to end her life and let her have a peaceful end. He and Shari comforted me in this very sad time and made Mattis and my last time together gentle and loving. I could never completely explain how important N.P. Animal Hospital has been in ours and Mattis life. The complete staff is something special and truly cared about our little girl and her parents. I can honestly recommend this practice as truly a caring and remarkable one. We miss Matti terribly, but we know we did everything possible for her, with the help of these fine vets and staff. Thank you, Dr.Rossi. Hopefully, someday well have another puppy and continue our relationship. Sincerely, Steve and Cindy Ruth Franconia, PA

After 9 years I am taking my dogs somewhere else. Over 4 months we were in and out of there and our dog was only getting worse. I finally diagnosed it myself and treated him with a home remedy and within days he was better. Dont assume allergies for a 9 year old dog thats never been allergic to anything EVER. We wasted about $1000 treating him for something he didnt have! And now with the new puppy, it took a week to get an estimate for his eye surgery. Then they called the next day giving me a higher estimate claiming they didnt know anything about the call I got before. Like I would make it up. Turns out that Quakertown Veterinary Clinic gave me an estimate on the same day as our visit, IN WRITING, and its coming up less than NPAH. Its worth the 20 minute drive to know Im not getting ripped off into paying for something that my dogs dont need. I normally dont complain, but if you knew what weve been through or moreso what our dogs have been through you would understand. I was always content with NPAH until this year. But now that Ive been to QVC, I see what a difference it is. I would not recommend NPAH to anyone anymore. Sorry

I could not be happier with this animal hospital. Years ago when I had dogs, we saw Dr. Ruth. Now, for the first time I have cats. Dr. Perin was wonderful and obviously loves cats. Although I thought my appt was for 4:40, they had me as 4:00 and saw my three cats without any wait at all. The young male vet tech, whos name I did not get, was terrific as well. I had previously boarded my animals at an expensive local boarding facility. I was not allowed to see the boarding area as they only have Wednesday tours (hiding something?). It is not a matter of price, it is the concern and attention to pets. You will definitely receive this from the North Penn Animal Hospital.

Ive been taking my cats here for three years now and Ive never had a bad experience. When I adopted my second cat and took him in for his first check-up, he wasnt very cooperative. He found that exploring the room was more exciting than sitting still on the table. Instead of forcing him on the table, Dr. Rosignoli got down on her knees and listened to his heartbeat on the floor. She also continuously handles my "problem child," who is quite nasty while at the vet, with care and compassion - even while hes trying to bite her arm off. I highly recommend them, and especially Dr. Rosignoli, to anyone and everyone with a furbaby.

Ok vet for dogs, dont take your cat there. Ive been there twice with two different cats. Both were misdiagnosed. I took both to Cats Only in Norristown for second opinions and got proper treatment there. I went here two weeks ago with my cat who was having bathroom issues. They barely did an exam and said it was behavioral even though I told them there was blood down there. Blood got worse and it turns out he has crystals. Long story short, the people there are nice but not knowledgeable of cat health.

I left another vet because I felt like they werent completely honest. North Penn Animal Hospital told me the vaccines my puppy would need, might need or didnt need. They did not try to push anything on me, nor did they try to sell me hart worm medicine at the practice. They said if I can find it elsewhere for cheaper, theyd be happy to write me a script. Not to mention, they have very reasonable prices and the whole staff is super friendly. I have already recommended them to multiple people.

I took my cat here for dental work a few months ago to get a few teeth removed and get whatever was left cleaned up. They explained everything that would happen and put me at ease since I was very nervous about the entire procedure. They treated my cat like a furbaby not like just some random animal. Definitely not as expensive as I thought it would be, based off a vet in Doylestown charging over $1000 for the same service. I would highly recommend this vet!

Weve been taking all of our pets to Dr. Rossi for 10+ years. Hes a very knowledgable vet and great with the pets. Dr. Hatfield is also excellent and we have been happy with other vets too if these two are busy. Would recommend them for mice, guinea pigs, and dogs from our personal experience; we wouldnt go anywhere else!
