Ive never loved a dentist, office, hygienist or staff before in my life till I came here. Dr. Tranby is gentle, compassionate and treats me like an intelligent adult which is refreshing. Other dentists either treated me like "the filling in room 2", or a fearful child, complete with baby talk. One hygienist at my previous dentist embarrassed me so badly I left mid-cleaning and never went back. No surprise that I needed a ton of work, including extractions, when I finally got to Smilekeepers. I was met with patience, understanding, support and good humor. My service dog is welcomed with smiles and Ive never had to wait more than 2 days for an urgent appointment, emergencies are always seen same day, or the next morning. Dr Tranby actually came in at 6:30 am once in order to care for my broken tooth. Ive recommended Dr. Tranby to my entire family and all of my friends. Im so grateful to Smilekeepers, doctors Tranby and Hansen and the entire staff for my confident smile and freedom from fear of the dentist!

My husband had not seen a dentist in 25 years, during which time his wisdom teeth had emerged and cracked the molars next to them. One of the dental surgeons at Smile Keepers in Springfield not only tagged the nerve that would relieve him of all feeling in his mouth before a root canal so precisely that my husband only had a slight painful prick for a moment and then nothing, they explained the procedure and answered all concerns he had with the respect that any human deserves. My husband was in full panic mode for 20 minutes because of his fear of dentists, and his experience there made it possible for him to even look forward to the next appointment. The wait is well worth it, and it is no wonder they are usually well booked and take a little longer to see than some other dentists! Regardless, I have always been able to schedule an appointment at least 2 months from when I call. They recently remodelled as well, which I believe has opened up their ability to handle more patients.

Great dentists if you are the type of person to not be a flake about keeping your appointments! they dont schedule out months in advance like some have stated. I was just in on May 3 and have my next appt June 7 (that is hardly over a month away. It is true that if you are a no show (meaning you didnt even bother to call and cancel/reschedule, you just didnt show up) then all future appointments get cancelled for you and your entire household. I completely understand why they have this policy. Dont flake out and youll be fine.

I made my daughters first appointment months ago. I called today to confirm it and was told they cancelled it. I then proceeded to make a new one and they kept putting me on hold. Finally one girl told me they would continue to put me on hold until I stopped calling. Then they blocked my number. They cancelled an appointment Id made months ago for no reason then showed me the worst service Ive ever seen and Im from Sacramento California.

Worse experience ever. The Denisit there attempted to shove a dental dam down my throat 2 different times after I told him several times that I have a horrible gag reflex. He was extremely rude, and told me I could go somewhere else if I wasnt happy with the services that he was providing. Horrible experience, and rude people all the way around. Minus one or two people.

I had all my teeth removed. My dentures came in with such a perfect fit, I do not need adhesives, or strips or anything to keep them in place. I was treated like a movie star. The desk staff are superb. And my doctor was the best I have ever had. And I am 52 years old. Thank you smile keepers for changing my life. I will give them even more stars☆☆☆☆☆☆☆.

I think this dentist office wastes a lot of time for their own profit. Ive been there 5 times, the whole time needing a filling, and all they have gotten done is cleaning 1/4 of my teeth in the last 4 months. And now the filling I needed originally now needs a root canal.

Rude & unreliable. Changing dentists. They schedule appointments that are months away that by the time your appointment comes, another thing is wrong & its just an endless cycle.
