Terrible patient care. The doctor wrote me a prescription last month that apparentltly requires a preauthorization. Ive called the doctors office 4 times, left 3 voicemails, and on the 4th call I was immediately placed on hold for 20 minutes, then I called back and was on hold for 15 more minutes before I gave up. Now Ive read that yesterday was the last day the park slope clinic was open, so now its apparently no longer a clinic, I cant get ahold of the doctor, and I cant get my medicine. Not to mention that my first appt was meant to be a skin check, but bc I mentioned another issue of concern, he made the entire appt (15 minutes of useless suggestions, he didnt even touch me for a handshake, much less look at my skin), and he told me insurance doesnt pay him for two things in a visit so that if I wanted a skin check Id have to make another appointment for that....even though that was WHY I was there and what my prescription referral was for. The fact that I havent so much as received a call back regarding my messages, over the span of 3-4 weeks about this preauthorization shows a total lack of progessionalism and disregard for quality patient care/continuity of care. Dont waste your time on this doctor.

Dr. Weissmans office was very profesional and welcoming! From the person at the receptionist desk, to the PA who saw me, to the Doctor himself. I had to wait a little bit of time but the doctor makes it well worth the wait. I found Dr. Weissman to be very knowledgeable and to have a great bedside manner. He genuinely cared about my health and concerns. He made me feel comfortable during the consultation and he took the time to answer all of my questions. Every other dermatologist Ive been to would sit for less than 5 mins and quickly go away leaving me with unanswered questions. I also took my kids for a visit and they love him! He is great with kids and makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Great experience. Definitely going back. Highly recommend!!
