I have always been TERRIFIED of going to the dentist, I mean TERRIFIED. I also had a horrid experience 7 months ago at Princeton Dental and was even more reluctant to get my root canal and fillings taken care of. I seriously contemplated letting my tooth just go to avoid going to the dentist. I decided to try Jefferson Dental in Plano because of the price. 80-90 for a filling, practically free office visit, and very easy to get an appointment. This staff was by far the most friendly and caring staff I have ever experienced. Dr. Kim is now the only dentist I will EVER let touch my mouth ever again. She was amazing. They explained everything in detail, went over pricing, and while I had my root canal (which was done same day which is unheard of), Dr. Kim checked on me continuously as she did her procedure. My root canal was completely painless and I had 3 fillings and a root canal in 1 1/2 hours. They prescribed me pain meds and antibiotics to prevent an infection. I didnt have to use a single pain pill, in fact I felt so good when I left that I didnt even fill that one, just the antibiotics. The root canal also only cost $450.00 compared to $1200.00+ every where else I called. Considering I had no pain during or after the procedure, I would consider that money well spent. I will be returning to Dr. Kim for my crown in a few months since they also told me about the option of a temporary filling that would last up to a year to help with the cost of a root canal/crown. I couldnt be more pleased with Dr. Kim and her staff and will continue to recommend them and rave about my dental care at their facility. The only thing I would say needs improvement is targeting more clientele that just Spanish speaking clientele. The TV was in Spanish and some of the signs werent even translated into English. Throw up some sub titles on the TV and make sure you have all of the posters available to both languages and I feel that it would make English only speaking clients more comfortable when they wait. Their office was clean and neat so other than that I was very comfortable while I waited. Thank you again Dr. Kim and staff :)

First of all, let me state that going to any "Dentist" for painful dental work is NO FUN. With that said, I needed a badly infected back molar extracted since it had become loose over the past 5 months and was very, very painful. From the moment I arrived at this dental office the young women at the front were very professional and yet down to earth. They made me feel very much at home and were very attentive to my PAIN. I have to say that the ENTIRE staff was very attentive to mine and other patients needs (a watched how they interacted with other patients). I went through the quick x-rays and then consultation. Importantly, THERE WAS NO HARDSELL and NO SCARE TACTICS,...only very quick pointed details about my personal case and recommended procedures. (this I found refreshing). I did need this molar removed, which they did. The tooth area was deadened for pain relief (This deadening "process" involved zero pain) and the tooth was removed quickly. The ONLY discomfort I felt was when the dentist had to literally scrap-out the infected areas in the tooth socket. On the scale of pain from 1-10 Id say it was a 4-5, mainly discomfort even though the area was deadened to pain. I WOULD WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE TO ANYONE, THEY HAVE A GREAT STAFF AND THEY DO GREAT FAST WORK..! Ill be using this office for all future cleanings and dental maintenance.

Had two attempts for crown that was unsuccessful and finally had my tooth extracted. This whole saga went on for about a 3 weeks and since I was in so much pain they referred me out to a specialist. That appointment was for November, 3 months wait while experiencing lots of pain in my tooth. I then called the office to what other options I had because I had to leave work because of the pain I was having. They had no other options for me, so I took matters into my own hands and saw a specialist. He said it would be better for me to get the tooth extracted because of the size of the cavity. So I went back to them because they had owned me a refund because I paid for the services up front. Got the tooth extracted and waited for my refund. Guess what its 3 weeks later and no refund, the office staff is nice until you have an issue then they look at you like your crazy. Do not ask them to call you back because they wont, I finally got fed up with them and called the corporate office to check on my refund. They still have not processed it after 3 weeks: $1306.00. The office manager told me my refund had already been approved and was being mailed out to me. He also said he would call me back and I even had the front desk tell me the same thing, guess what...no ever called me back and even worse no one has said I am sorry.

I am Not sure what these people are trying to do but I do know that they took my money said I needed thousands of dollars worth of procedures done my luckily my insurance company covered most of it. They said I needed a root canal I got the root canal done they left an open nerve in my mouth and then said that they could not fix it after months of being in pain I went back to try to see if they can fix it again only for them to transfer me over to a different doctor who could actually fix my problem according to them but this doctor was not available for two month!!!!!!!!! What am I supposed to do I am in pain now I can not wait 2 months to get my tooth fixed that day did incorrectly they said that I can go to a different dentist but they have used up all of the money on my insurance which means that if I wanted to get another dentist to fix what they have messed up I will have to pay for it out of pocket what kind of sense does that make dont go hear the way periods are extremely long just dont do it!

Obviously try to take every dollar out of you, even if nothing is wrong with you tooth. I had been there 4 months ago to have my cavities fixed, were I was satisfied by the two cavities that were done. However, I went to an other dentist to finance braces for my teeth. With the consultation that was given to me, I also received photos of my teeth from multiple angles. I found that I had one cavity that i didnt know of, so I went back to the Jefferson dental in Plano. They told me that the tooth did not have a cavity and that nothing was wrong with it, even when I had showed the picture. They then insisted on having one of my other teeth (that looks and feels fine) fixed for a cavity. When I asked for my refund they said that they would have to mail it, and that it would take two weeks to arrive in the mail. Two weeks have past bye and no refund check. SCAM.
