AVOID AT ALL COST: I called this clinic and asked the receptionist (who identified herself as Polaris Nevares) when Dr. Beckman would be available for a tooth extraction. She said she would gather the information and call me back. At the end of the day after not hearing from her for 7-8 hours I called again, and she said she hadnt had time to gather the information but when she did she would get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago! So today I called again, and guess who, the always lovely Polaris Nevares. Again I asked when Dr. Beckman would be available for an opening. She once again told me that she would check and get back to me. Guess what? She didnt so I called back 6 hours later and there is no answer. 2 Hours go by and finally I see the number form the clinic ringing my cellphone. Its not Polaris Nevares but the husband of Debra A. Nossaman (another vet at the clinic) who identified himself as the owner but not by name. I was a bit confused by him calling me back so I asked, did you ever figure out when Dr. Beckman would be available for an dental appointment. Here is where things get strange. The owner of this business goes off on this long spill saying that Polaris had said I was -- wait for it -- "harassing her." So asking someone to do their job is now harassment? Ive never heard of such laziness or lack of job integrity in my entire life. The owner then said, that the next step was calling the police on me! At this point, I thought I was dreaming, I called your office a total of 6 times in 2 weeks (3 times in which you didnt answer and twice when you didnt call me back and tell me when the Vet would be in the clinic, so youre going to call the police. I thought I must be dreaming. So I said, Ill hold for the police, call them I would love to speak to them and also the the better business bureau for that matter. He called down a bit and went on saying that most people when they call the office they just go with the attending Vet. Well guess what, I had been referred to Dr. Beckman and that is who I wanted to see my dog. He was obviously offended that I didnt want to use his wife and/or Polaris had been caught not doing her job so she made up an entire ordeal out of absolutely nothing. I really was is shock from this clinic. I urge you to go to Metro Paws. I called them and they said come right in. I asked if I could choose the vet I was recommended to there and guess what, they said absolutely, we recommend doing that! How refreshing was this instead if the put out Polaris Nevares and the elitest owner of this clinic. Feel free to contact me for more information. If you love your dogs like I do, you will go wherever in the world that is best at what they do. That is definitely not Dallas Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery!

I have a deep love and concern of my dogs. As such, I am seriously grateful for the Specialized and Advanced dental services provided by Dr. Nossaman. It is critical to me to have the BEST monitoring of my dogs while under sedation, which DVD provides. Very importantly, Dr. Nossaman has determined notable concerns during treatment that definitely needed to be addressed right then that I am certain a general treatment veterinarian would be unable or not knowledgeable to determine in his/her dental cleaning practice. I would close with noting Dr. Nossamans bedside manner is excellent, staff informs me of the progress of treatments and documentation is terrific with the use of tables, charts and pictures. Jeff

I brought my dog Sonic to Dr. Nossaman at Dallas Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgery, She was wonderful! she looked at my dogs teeth with me and explained everything she saw, my dog had some chipped teeth in the front of his mouth that needed to be taken care of to prevent bacteria traveling to the roots where they could cause infection. I had never thought of my dogs mouth like that before and she explained everything so well. The whole staff was very friendly and informative and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I could tell Dr. Nossaman loves animals and really cares about what she does, I will definitely be bringing my dog back next year.

My entire experience here from start to finish was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Dr. Nossaman and her staff are wonderful. They took excellent care of my very geriatric kitty who has some health problems and can be very challenging to work with. They have an obvious commitment to excellence in oral care, pain management, and customer service. I was called each step of the way, when he went under anesthesia, during anesthesia to report on his progress and discuss more definitive therapy (many times oral disease is only found under anesthesia with a complete oral exam and radiography ) and when he was In recovery. I highly recommend them.

Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery for providing excellent care to one of our rescued Australian Cattle Dogs, Cassie. The office staff was friendly, responsive and professional. Dr. Nossaman gave Cassie a very thorough exam and cleaning and repaired some enamel. We appreciate so much their expertise and their willingness to work with our rescue. ~Texas Cattle Dog Rescue

Absolutely the best! Our older Dachshund has had dental issues her entire life and now at the age of 13 she needed to have the rest of her teeth removed. The care was wonderful, they stayed in touch throughout the entire procedure, and provided excellent pain management. Absolutely the best dental practice Ive encountered.
