Weve been taking our dog to the Arlington Animal Hospital for a couple of years now, and the staff is always very nice both to us and to our dog. The facilities are modest but clean and friendly. They have an adorable, friendly cat that lives there and is always ready to greet patients. However, Dr. Harris has always been very difficult to speak with in that she acts both condescending and accusatory every time we bring our dog in with a problem. My dog was recently diagnosed with a heart disease, and instead of answering my questions about treatment, she made me feel as though we had done something wrong. Weve always taken good care of our dog; this type of disease is common in male dogs of his size, breed, and age. And instead of being forthcoming about the prices of treatment, she implied that price should not matter -- unfortunately, for my family it does. She has made us feel ashamed that we are constrained to our finances, to the point that we dread seeing her, which is something no doctor - for humans or animals - should ever do. We are now looking for a new vet to help us with our dogs condition.

I have been taking my dog to ARLINGTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL for seven years now. Today my dog got her yearly check up and I will never bring her back. Dr Harris is very judgmental and hard to speak to. My dog gets very scared and will start to snap when she is doing her exam. Dr. Harris said to me, "I guess this dog has never heard the word "NO" before." I was fuming, but kept my composure and vowed to never go back. Also, I paid over $200 for an exam and they didnt even take my dogs temperature. Then to top it off, she went to try to scan my dogs microchip and I noticed it didnt scan. Instead of saying anything she changed the subject, until I stopped her and asked her about it. She said, "We are getting a new scanner this fall, bring her back and we will try again." What??? Not only do they not have a nice facility or up to date equipment, but they are more expensive than other vets!!! I am currently looking for a new vet to take over my dogs care.

I took our new adopted puppy in for the free visit that the doctor gives for those who adopt and was very impressed. Every one was very helpful and we did the normal work up and found out that our new little girl has parvo. They went through all the options with us and sugested we take her to the shelter for tests and to try to make it all come together for the lil pup to make it. We were even given a new leash as she had an accedent on hers during the inspection. I plan to be a repeat customer.

I received a free 1st checkup from a friend at church and I took my new puppy queeny to Arlington Animal hospital. Dr. Harris not only examined but educated me on how to care for queeny. She was very nice and her staff seemed nice too. They made me feel comfortable and I felt liked they really cared. Im so glad that I was able to find a vet for queeny. shes my baby and now she has a great Vet. :)

Dr. Harris is an amazing vet that always kept me in the loop with my cats health and her staff is nice. Im always treated with respect and everybody is very helpful. Im so glad she was able to find and remove a tumor my cat had and so far my cat is doing great after 3 years! I totally reccomend Arlington Animal hospital and will be going for a checkup next spring!!!!

Weve been taking our Buffy to Dr. Harris for over 6 years, and we have absolute confidence in her. AAH understood when I was between jobs and couldnt do all of the things that they would normally recommend for my pet, and never tried to pressure us like some vets offices do. They have taken wonderful care of our little precious and we wouldnt go anywhere else!

I boarded my dog at this "hospital" while painting my house. When I picked her up she was sick and had developed an allergy to a vaccine they gave her. The staff never called me or claimed responsibility for her illness. I took my dog to another hospital which treated her illness. These people should not be allowed to keep animals.

I have always adopted my pets from the street and brought them here for all their medical needs. This clinic without question is the best in arlington. I am still willing to drive across town to bring my pets here they have the best prices and the best care. Everybody working here is nice and show true love for animals.

I just got my first dog, and the staff and vet at Arlington Animal Hospital have been so helpful and understanding in answering all of my questions about my new puppy. They go out of there way to show me what they are doing and to make sure my puppy gets the best care.

We have just taken our reptiles to see Dr. Harris and wanted to ay what a great vet we think she is, she spent a lot of time with us and explained all the medical care she was providing to them. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that has a reptile.

Arlington Animal Hospital looked after my dog while I was out of town. Its awsome my dog got a bath every day for a week and got to run freely in the grassy courtyard!!! I will board my dog again.
