I have had my dog for almost 4 years. She is a tall skinny lean husky that weighs about 55lbs. Over the past few days she did start to feel skinnier but was still eating normally and playing normally. It is her time of the year to shed off her winter coat so I didnt think much of it. On Friday Morning my wife and I woke up to her throwing up and urinating on the floor. However about 9am she stopped and just rested the rest of the day. When I got home from work at about 6pm she didnt look great at all. I immediately loaded her up in my car and took her to the "vet". At first the Vet Tech was very polite and seemed concerned about my dog. After about a 15 minute wait the Vet came in and started to examine my dog. She spent all of 2 minutes in the room with us before telling us that they needed to run several tests to figure out what it was. I asked the vet what she might think it was and she responded "Ill have the write up an estimate for you and we can go from there". An "estimate" is not really what I asked for.... So I asked the Vet if we could do a CBC blood panel and do an IV because she is DE-hydrated. This is when the Vet started to stumble over her words because she did not realize that she was talking to someone that understood medical terminology. That is when the Vet started to accuse me of abusing my dog and not feeding her properly. She quickly left the room... The Vet Tech kept coming in and out over the next hour with a different estimate. At first they wanted to charge $2,500 to run every test possible and tell us that if they could figure out what it was they probably wouldnt be able to treat it so we would have to go to a specialist tomorrow or Monday. After my wife and I had a moment to talk we agreed that this was basically a care now for dogs and they would do anything they could to make a quick dollar and they dont actually care about taking care of someone and the animal. We ended up doing an IV and taking some antibiotics from them. (I regret buying the medication from them, I should of gotten a script and picked them up much cheaper some where else.) They advised to take her somewhere else the next day because she would probably not make it through the weekend. I am happy to say that my dog is up walking around, eating, drinking, and playing some. It was probably worms or a parasite that is working its way out of her system. I would give this place a zero star rating if that was an option. I work in the medical field so I understand the bottom line but also treating your clients/patients with respect is more important. Not telling them "well you dont have the money to take care of your pet so have you thought about surrendering her so someone else can take care of your animal properly." I will be calling the hospital later today and speaking with someone in charge because the Vet was highly unprofessional and the Vet Tech however nice was just pushing a sale and telling us our pet would die if we dont buy more from them. I would not advise anyone to got there ever.... it would be worth driving an extra 10 minutes to get help for your pet. Whoever is in charge should be ashamed of the type of care they provide.

I truthfully regret to write this review, however I feel I would never want another animal owner to EVER be put in the same situation that I was in tonight! Our dog had gotten into some grilled chicken breast that made her horribly sick. She was throwing up and pooping uncontrollably. We called to make sure they were open and took her there instantly. On our way to this "emergency vet" her gums and tongue had turned completely white, her eyeballs literally rolled into the back of her head and I could barely hear a breath of life what so ever..needless to say she needed serious help. They are open. empty parking lot. we pulled right up to the front door, jumped out and unloaded our dog. We brought her in and no one was at the front desk so we had to yell for help, finally a nurse walked out and asked us "have you been here before?" We said " No, our dog got into a chicken breast and she is vomiting and limp, and pooping on herself! This just happened about 10 minutes ago!" She starred at us then proceeded to tell me my dog was pooping on the floor........... Obviously, isnt that what I just told you was happening? We cleaned up her dropping and she took us to a room. She then said she was going to go get a stethoscope and would be right back. If I bring in a dog wrapped in a blanket that is clearly very sick, to an "emergency hospital" and I was the ONLY CAR IN THE ENTIRE PARKING LOT, Could someone please tell me why I waited for 15 minutes to even see an assistant until after I was walking out the door???!!! I looked through a window to the back and she was just standing back there talking to another employee. It seemed that they could care less about our sick dog. After I wrapped my dog up in her blanket and let them know we were leaving someone started to come out of the back room. I let them know I was leaving and that it was ridiculous that I had to wait 15 minutes at an "emergency vet" when I was the only person there! His response? " Oh ok." At this point I didnt know if I was more upset for my sick dog or the absolute unprofessional behavior that I just witnessed. Animals are peoples children, Thank God the other Emergency Clinic could help out our sweet baby. Needless to say if your animal is in a serious emergency situation DO NOT take them to this place!!! Some one needs to seriously evaluate the staff that worked on 4/5/15 at about 8 pm. I would feel ashamed and embarrassed of yourselves.

They were very polite but thats the only good thing I can say. I came in the middle of the night and had no idea what was wrong with my dog. They got me into the exam room seconds after I entered and gave her a quick once over, asked some questions, recommended a parvo test, and said the vet would be in shortly. It was looking like I came to the right place, I was wrong. Turns out that door service is so quick for 2 reasons: 1. Once they have looked at your animal, they can charge the $85 fee. 2. If you fill out their paperwork that looks like basic info needed for the animal and your contact info, they sell your contact information. I started receiving pet magazines the next week. After they got there basic profit, service slowed way down. After he left I called my wife to see how far she wanted to take it. I explained the symptoms and none of them were consistent with parvo. He came in after that with quotes for parvo testing and wanted me to sign off on it, I declined. Still no vet. My wife suggested checking her air way because she was breathing heavy and drooling a lot. That is when I noticed the electrical burn on her tongue and cheek. I immediately opened the door to tell him what I had found. He came in, agreed it was an electrical burn, said the vet would be in shortly, and left. It took awhile but the vet finally came in. She was also very polite. She recommended pain killers, antibiotics, tests, and overnight observation maybe longer. Then she left. By this time I was sure we were being taken for a ride. After waiting awhile and poking my head out to try and get out of there, he came in with 3 big quotes from $400 to over $1000. I declined and said I just wanted to take her to my vet in the morning. He left and came back with two more quotes for meds. I agreed to the liquid pain killer and antibiotics. I hope I never need one again but I wont be going back to this emergency vet.
