Im very disappointed by the experience we had here. I brought my daughter in after a bad fall at the park. The doctor was very kind to her and checked for swelling before sending us next door for x-rays. The radiation tech was great and showed me the screen as she was taking the x-rays, explaining that she was not supposed to say, but she did see a fracture, which we expected based on the fall and the pain level my daughter was experiencing. We went back to meet with the doctor and he took a look at a few of the x-rays (not all of them), and said the computer was slow and had not been working well all day. I told him my daughter was disappointed she might be missing out on swimming if her arm was broken, and that she had a lesson in two days. He smiled kindly and said he didnt think there was anything wrong and she should be fine to swim then. He had her wrist wrapped in an ace bandage and told me to ice it but it was just a sprain and she would be fine in a day or two. I found this odd because of what the radiation tech had said and because even a sprain takes more than two days to heal. But it was late and he seemed to feel I was just an overprotective mom and the whole ice and ace bandage were just to placate me, as if nothing were really wrong. We left and as we were walking out the radiation tech stopped me to ask what the doctor had said. When I told her she looked very concerned and had me come back into their imaging center. She made a disk of the x-rays for me to take and told me to get a second opinion. She also left a message for another doctor to review the x-rays. Thank God for her, because I was not sure what to think with the doctors weird non-diagnosis and the fact that my daughter, wanting to avoid a cast and be able to swim, was saying she was fine. Well an hour after we got home someone called to tell me she did, in fact, have a fracture. The next day we saw an orthopedic doctor who explained she had a fracture in both her ulna and her radius. Im beyond shocked that the doctor there missed something so simple and common and sent us on our way. The radiation tech was great (although I think they are a separate facility) and the Urgent Care is clean and everyone was pleasant and we got in quickly. But please get a second opinion if you go here. I hate to think of the damage to her dominant hand my little girl, who loves drawing and is just learning to write, could have done had we listened to this doctor and believed things were fine.

Worst experience ever. Waited for 1.5 hours and cant even see my son. X-rays were down. Admin did not do her job properly in regards to reasons for the visit and paperwork. Nurse came in and said the machines were down that the admin should have said something. Regardless, poor service and 1.5 hours wasted. Will never return

Hurt myself and needed stitched. I was seen quickly, and I was treated by Becquie (is that how her name is spelled). She was truly excellent. Im sorry someone else had trouble when treated by her. She was fun and engaging and she really took the time with me to do the job right. I needed 11 stitches.

Always treated quickly (if the room is full, still under an hour wait time or less) & correctly. Follow up with our regular doctor not always necessary. If you need a regular doctor who can see you quickly and even give care remotely, also check out Moorpark Family Medicine.

This was the worst doctor visit of my life today. Dr??? ( never bothered to introduce self) Wife was in extreme discomfort that was heavily exacerbated by the incompetencey. I am still shocked at the experience I had there today. Unbelievable.
