I wish I had the same experience as Deborah in the rating below but I did not. I heard about dr kayne through a close friend of mine. He explained him as amazing , caring and a genius at what he does. I was very excited to meet him. Recently I developed chronic pain throughout my whole body. I have been to many doctors who have not been very helpful so far. I have been active my whole life and have a love for nature and hiking. Now I cant do anything I love , I can barely move and Im in pain all the time. When I called to make my appointment with dr kayne the receptionist was very rude to me from the beginning of the conversation. She was giving me excuses of why I shouldnt see kayne saying he is too expensive, he doesnt take insurance, he only treats diabeties, he is out of town. I told her I was aware of all of these things and that I was paying out of pocket and that he has treated a friend of mine for other things than just diabeties. She then asked what insurance I had. I told her. I got a quick response from her saying that they do not take patients with my insurance. I told her I was paying cash so why did it matter. She responded again very aggressively saying they would not take me. From the begining of the conversation I felt like she was trying to convince me not to make an appointment and trying to find a way for me not too. I was crushed that I was denied help from the one person I though that could help me. I wish I could have met kayne. I have been rushed and not taken seriously by every doctor Iv seen. It has been such a rough , frustrating emotionally draining process and only hurts me more that someone could make me feel so unimportant. I hope she reads this message and knows that people call that office for help and a simple welcome or caring voice makes all the difference.
