Performed meniscus repair and removal of ACL. Sent home w/nerve blocked leg and a brace that was not installed properly. She fell. Bad. Had follow up MRI and had a complete root tear of the meniscus. We questioned this finding and he denies the year on MRI is there and upon questioning his diagnosis, instead of explanation he discharged my fiancé from his care to find another Dr. He had not even completed the final surgery scheduled to relive the ACL. His hubris and ego are so out of line he could not accept a question from his patient who had incurred another injury post-op. He is a dangerous man to put your health in the hands of. Go anywhere else. The support staff and management at S.C.O.I. were not helpful or caring at all. Once faced with this fact they all immediately attained a defensive posture and refused to even entertain the notion that this could happen. Rude. Inconsiderate. Unprofessional. And most importantly incompetent.

I Have been to Dr Ronald Karzel office 3 times I have been treated professionally I have been taken care of in a timely manner Explained in detail my MRI results , My questions have been answered. Everytime my wife asks a question the staff Nicki I hope I wrote your name correctly I called to ask a question you called me. Right back customer service is great ,Carol prepared the information for Dr Ronald Karzel , Carol made my wife and I feel welcome ,and check in and out was professional and kind. I am awaiting pre op appt . Thank you for your care

He is as most surgeons are. With one glaring difference - he is much better than the others. He repaired my shoulder much better than others would have been. Of this I have absolute certainty! Thanks again Dr. Karzel and the great staff at SCOI!
