We relocated from Missouri in 2001 with 2 dogs and a cat. We searched long and far for a veterinarian who had a Midwestern sense of friendliness and who clearly put our pets first. Dr. Ehlers is the most caring, compassionate, kind-hearted, and pet-centered veterinarian we encountered. After trying 5 or 6 other vets from Dr. Phillips to Lake Mary, we have been lifelong customers since our first visit to Dr. Ehlers. They understand that pets are true family members, so much that they even sent us a beautiful flower arrangement and sympathy card when we lost our 1st dog. As an added bonus, hes located right around the corner in Longwood. Our only regret is that we didnt find him sooner. Thanks for everything. -The Shollenbergers

Wonderful experience there. My dachshund Baxter isnt the most "pleasant" dog to work with. Hes been through 2 different back surgeries and is frankly becoming old and grumpy. But they treat him absolutely wonderfully. Dr. Fonseca really cares about him and all his patients, you can certainly tell. I was bringing Baxter in for the first time in nearly a year and Dr. Fonseca recognized him immediately in the parking lot and even stated he knew Baxter had another back surgery a few days ago. I just really appreciated that he took the time to read over all the papers that were faxed over. Its the best vet office Ive ever been to.

I called other vets when my cat contracted an aeural hematoma & received no empathy or info about potential treatment and cost. Only Jamie & Christy at 434 Animal hospital gave me any care or further information on the Care Credit card to pay for the treatment. Dr. Moore was very good at explaining all options & although a stressful situation, my cat loved him (cat magnetism) & Jessica took extra time to show me exactly how to care for my Kittys ear. I felt they gave me & my kitty compassion & extremely good care. I wont go to any other vet..EVER! Paying it forward at this vet!

Dr. Fonseca, Dr. Elhers and the staff at 434 Animal Hospital are amazing. My puppy was very ill when I got him and Dr. Fonseca was able to give me options for treatment that was afforable and fair. I took him to another vet for a second opinion and was not pleased with the experiece. My dog is now going on four years old and is healthy and fit. I also reguarly board him there when we go out of town. He is so happy to be there, he runs to the back and doesnt even look back. Thanks for always taking good care of Fable.

The people at 434 Animal Hospital are some of the nicest and most compassionate people I have ever met in any health care facility. My dogs loved going there to be boarded, which is really saying something. Before we started going there, they were miserable being boarded. When we would take them to 434, their tails were wagging and they would walk right into the room to go to the kennels. We have moved out of state, but I recommend 434 Animal Hospital. It is heads and shoulders above the rest!

I have never had a bad experience at this practice. Other than having to put my two cats down, but that is always painful. Everyone (staff included) are very compassionate towards the pets & care about them & their owners. I have gone to others, but I can honestly say 434 Animal Hospital is the best. I would recommend all my friends or anyone to go to this practice. I love both Dr. Fonseca & Dr. Ehlers & the staff. Thanks for taking care of all my fur babies. YOU ROCK!

My Pit Mix Harley has been a patient of 434 Animal hospital for over 10 years. The staff is friendly and courteous and always has your animals well being in mind. As my dog has aged she has seen all three of the on staff vets at one time or other, but is primarily a patient of Dr. Ehlers. Dr. Ehlers has an impeccable table side manner and is genuinely vested in your pets health. I would highly recommend 434 Animal Hospital.

Im calling around to get an idea of what vet I want to take my new puppy to, and I spoke to a woman named Amanda. Honestly the reviews looked great but when I spoke to her she seemed uninterested and unfriendly. Almost like she hates talking on the phone. Didnt even say goodbye. I almost felt like I was bothering her? Please note this isnt a review on their actual services, but on the customer service experience I just had.

Dr. Ehlers and his support staff are really great. I CANNOT recommend seeing his associate Dr. Fonseca. He seems to not be a fit for the practice. He is judgmental, dismissive, has no people skills and never smiles. The staff appears to be aware of this. He does not come across as being on the same level of expertise as Dr. Ehlers, sorry to say. I highly recommend 434 Animal Hospital in spite of this associate.

I have been taking my dog to 434 animal hospital for 10 years now and can say that both Dr. Ehlers and Dr. Fonseca. Both are very friendly and extremely caring. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Cost of checks and medicine is very reasonable. I live in Lake Mary and there are plenty of animal hospitals here. But I prefer to go to 434 Animal hospital for a reason. I would highly recommend the hospital.

My dogs and I have been with Dr. Ehlers for many, many years and there is no one I would trust more with the health of my beloved dogs than Bill Ehlers and his staff. Hes seen us through the routine medical issues, and hes seen us through cancer. His compassion and care is unwavering, and his staff is as wonderful as he is. We drive by at least three other vet offices to get there! Love you guys!!!!!

I love 434 animal hospital. I have ben going here for about 8 years. The entire staff is just amazing. They are all compassionate and are wonderful with my animals. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good and dedicated veterinary office. The doctors are great they are honest and understand that each animal needs to be handled differently.

I was able to get a same day appointment when I was worried my cat had hurt his leg. The entire staff was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful, and the estimated cost of the visit I was given when I called was what I paid when I left, unlike previous experiences with other vets offices in the area, i.e. Banfield. I will definitely continue to bring my pets here.

I have been taking my multipoo to 434animal hospital since moving here 18 months ago. We have had Annual check ups, general anesthesia for teeth cleaning, immunizations and used the boarding. Einstein shows no reluctance to go there. We have been pleased with all the services and recommend them to others. Thank you 434 AH!
